Lady on the phone was nice. Delivery was fast.
I got the egg foo young and the portion was massive. Unfortunately the egg foo young was fairly bland. The gravy has a very watery consistency and is also lacking in flavor.
Chicken skewers are tasty but they're always tasty, I don't think I've ever been to a place that managed to screw up chicken skewers.
Changed to 2 stars when I realized I also didn't get any fortune cookies. 💔

Look no further, pings is amazing, fast delivery, delicious taste, great value, easily one of my top 10 spots in the city. Hidden gem

This is not really a restaurant as advertised. You have to call ahead for pick up or delivery ONLY, NO DINE IN. We didn't know that until we walked there and saw the note on the door. Our order, took about 35 mins for of 2 apps and 3 mains and cost about $85, which would have been fine if we didn’t throw most of it away.

The portions were huge, but the quality was poor. The only thing I wanted was fried rice and it was so overcooked it looked burnt and it was quite dry and didn't have much flavor, the only decent thing was the sesame chicken.

Also, it's always hard to know what caused the upset stomach, but the two of us who ate the Kung Pao chicken were having issues the next day.

Was. Not happy with the service I called and ask if there was, if they were open and they said only take out only, and as I was going to say, can I order food? They hung up on me and then when I call him again. Hey, can I take a order for takeout? They hung up on me again, so their communication skills are not the greatest. Haven't tried their food, but wish they would , wait.

The owner is wonderful and always kind. The food is delicious and there's plenty of it.
There is no sit-down service here, it is takeout only.

Parking: Pings is takeout only.

My family and I were staying at nearby hotel and wanted some good comfort food. We decided on Ping’s! We ordered the sesame chicken, Singapore noodles, and the cheese puffs (cream cheese wontons). The sesame chicken was really delicious, but they did not allow you to substitute the steamed white rice for fried rice. The Singapore noodles were very tasty and the cheese puffs were good too. It’s nice that they can make the dishes spicy or mild depending on how you’d like it.

They do not allow dine-in so you have to call ahead and park outside. We ordered around 5pm and our vehicle was immediately cased by someone that checked the locks and looked inside. As long as you lock your car, the food is worth it!

Just had another delicious takeout dinner from Pings. The food is always good quality, nice portion size, hot and fresh.
So happy they’ve been able to stay in business through COVID and all the unrest in Minneapolis, even though it’s just take out & delivery. Appreciate the great service and food.

Great take out dinner from Pings. Hot, high quality, nice size portions and delicious. Highly recommend, been enjoying their food for years, best Chinese in Minneapolis. Due to COVID & the changes in downtown, they only offer delivery & takeout from the side door.

First time at this place but won't be my last hopefully. It would be nice to come back next year. For real great. Service was amazing. It's hard to find good Chinese food when I'm not at home.

Ok. The food was amazing. I asked for very spicy and got it which is rare. A little mad that there’s no dine-in, but service was FAST. Crispy eggs rolls. Amazing chicken skewers. Mongolian beef a little different, but SPICY. Will eat here again.

I was told the food would be done in 7 minutes. I can only imagine they microwaved it. They wouldn't open the front door for me when I went to pick it up.

Compared with the Chinese restaurant Bamboo Chinese Restaurant in Zion, the taste of this restaurant is much worse. We ordered 4 portions of food, 2 of which had chicken with no salt at all. For this reason, I specially modified my evaluation of that company.
