Burgers were overcooked. Lamb leg sandwich au jus had a half inch thick layer of grease on top. Pot roast was over seasoned and the gravy was so salty it was inedible. The sweet potato fries were the best thing and they weren’t anything special. Not sure why this place is so highly rated. I was hoping for good Irish pub fare and it was pretty mediocre.
We are from Texas and came up to Minneapolis for a week. Out of all the local restaurants we have been to, Pog Mahone's has been one of the best ones. Sully treated us very well. We will be back here next time we are in this part of the country.
Stopped in last night for fish and chips and the jumbo shrimp...both were awesome. Shrimp was huge and tasty. Our servers was super friendly and fun. Relaxed atmosphere. Some grandparents were there playing pool with their two granddaughters.Highly recommend Pog Mahone's.
