I was really disappointed in my visit here. We went Thursday evening before a concert down the street, and were hoping to catch a drink and a quick bite to eat. Upon arrival I asked for a food menu and the bartender (only person working as far as I could tell) gave me a sarcastic answer that they have a food menu but not serving food right now, rather than just politely telling me that “unfortunately the kitchen is closed at this time, we serve food at xyz time”…
Then at our table (one of three tables with patrons, so… not like it was a busy time) the bartender came over and rushed us through our ordering experience. He was forward with the fact that they don’t “do” vodka, but didn’t give us any reason as to why, which I thought was a bit odd, but whatever. His tone and approach to capturing our order felt really uncomfortable and abrasive.
Then it took quite some time for the drinks to come out. The drinks were good but we were all pretty put off at that point.
It’s a real bummer as we were all excited to try this spot and the atmosphere inside could be great for a first date vibe (dark, sexy, modern), but I will not be returning after that first impression.
Idk if someone had called out sick and the guy felt short staffed, or something else under the surface, but it was a really bad experience :/

This place hates your business, our group of 4 was told it’s an hour wait with no one in there because they need to keep the vibe right. We have tried to go three times and each experience is worst then the last. I was told I wouldn’t understand this places vibe by a staff member wearing sweatpants. Give your money to Flora Room or Parlour

Love this place! Love every single drink that was served here I'm so happy that I don't need to think about the next drink to order and just tell them what I'm looking for in a drink! The bartenders are super knowledgeable and cool and knows how to carry a conversation and not be awkward! And the music might be a bit loud for people but still taxable and I personally really like dimmed places!

Been here a couple of times, both of which I had Albert as my bartender. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, definitely enhancing my experience here. Would come back in the blink of an eye, always a fun atmosphere and new cocktails that you won’t get anywhere else!

Such a warm, cozy bar with an elevated experience. Albert was spot on with the drinks he made for me and my best friend. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Would recommend for a chill, but classy bar in downtown!
