Totally incredible experience. You come in, get a seat from the hostess in a cool and chill ambient bar, and then the bartender asks you about your preferences. You get a bespoke beverage - all of which were absolutely incredible - made to order. It was really exceptional. I definitely recommend!

We were forced to the “back bar” that was amazing with service and presented with cordial hospitality! Drinks were delightful! Front bar was a little too big for their britches and bougie at best. Bartenders have too much money to want yours and even with empty seats refuse your business. Don’t make me ask twice to sit in your seats, my money spends elsewhere but I did try to spend it here.

This is a quintessential craft cocktail bar. Dim lights and leather seats only amplify the mood of this modern speakeasy. With no official menu, this is a cocktail enthusiast’s dream as you’re put into the hands of an extremely capable mixologists who only need to know the basics of what you like to deliver something perfect. These drinks are strong, but the Uber drive is well worth it.

Out of this world experience. Stefan made us fantastic cocktails. He took our ideas and brought them to life in delicious artistic masterpieces. The ambiance was spot on and the hostess did a great job accommodating a very busy crowd.

Guys, please please please get bar stools with backs. Us old folks are struggling.

Very cool joint! I feel like I usually describe what I want in a cocktail before I order one, so this was perfect that this is how they take orders! If you want a high end specialty cocktail crafted exactly how you like it, this place is perfect for you. The apps were also fantastic. Sweet potato waffle fried, mini empañadas, and queso spring rolls were all bomb. Super fun place to hang with friends in an intimate setting.

Stopped in for a drink after dinner and were early enough that it wasn't too packed. We had 3 in our party. It was a fun experience to talk through with the bartender what type of drinks we prefer, we all 3 have different likes. It took longer than expected to receive our drinks, but we were understanding. However, this is the point that it went downhill. We were lucky we enjoyed our drinks because we got ZERO service after. If one of us hadn't liked it, we would have just sat with it. We wanted to pay, made it pretty obvious by putting our glasses at the end of the table, trying to catch workers eyes, BUT eventually had to go to the bar to ask how to pay. Then it took another 5 mins and we finally got to pay...$19 per cocktail with zero follow up or customer service is OUTRAGEOUS. They need someone other than the busy bartenders to check up on guests and to assist with paying. I cannot imagine if it was busy.

Not coming back to this joke of a speakeasy.
Took way too long for such a small amount to drink. Had 2 sips, spent $10 per sip.
Waiter flirted with my wife, no remorse.
Only positive was the check-in.

A little bougie for my taste; probably best for folks who aren't from backwoods Wisconsin (like myself).

The server and host were both awesome.

Public Domain in Minneapolis offers a truly unique and personalized experience. When you arrive, the bartenders ask about your drink preferences, flavors, or palate, and then craft a drink tailored specifically to your tastes. It’s such a cool concept that makes every visit feel special.

The atmosphere is equally impressive. The main area has a speakeasy vibe—intimate and intriguing, while the back bar brings a more modern flair with great music and design. Whether you’re there for the creative drinks or the distinct ambiance, Public Domain is definitely worth checking out.
