Don’t eat here after 5 PM. Dinner portions are consistently smaller.

Used to be really good. Portion sizes have dropped significantly the past 3 times we’ve gone. Food quality has also gone down over the past month or so.

Edit to add: they’ve fixed these issues at least the past couple times I’ve been there! Food is still delicious, portions seem to be ironed out :)

what’s the point of ordering online if you have to wait in the long rush line anyways! They have a dedicated spot for online order pick up but every time without fail I have to wait in line to ask them for it anyways. They said my order would be ready by 12pm, I get there 12:03 and it’s not on the shelf so I wait in line and they hadn’t even started my order. This has happened probably three times.

Amazing little gem! Loved meeting Roberto, MB and Santos… they’re so genuine and kind, and the food was delicioso! Can’t wait to come back.

This place is a much nicer version of Chipotle. Super clean inside and with a quality staff to go with it. Highly recommend Puralima and will definitely be going there more often.

Absolutely Unacceptable – Food Poisoning Sent Me to the Hospital

I went to PURALIMA Cantina for the first time and ordered the shrimp bowl with added steak. Within hours, I became violently ill — vomiting, stomach cramps, fever — and had to be hospitalized for three days due to severe food poisoning.

I’ve never experienced something so extreme from a restaurant. This wasn’t a mild reaction — this was a full medical emergency that required IV fluids, medication, and time off work.

It’s deeply concerning that a place serving seafood and meat could have such poor food safety protocols. I want others to be aware and cautious before dining here. What happened to me could happen to anyone.

I’ve already reported the incident to the health department, and I strongly encourage others who’ve had bad experiences to speak up too. This isn’t just about bad service — it’s about public health.
