Bought food for 60. Asha talked me down to 30. We had food left over but people lined up to take something home with them. It was ready on time and delicious many people asked for the address. Thank you

Lunch break, decided to lunch here for the first time after grocery run at Aldi. Wished they had a menu available earlier for people waiting in line, though the menu linked online in maps reflects most of the named items though may not include descriptions.

Ordering was easy, got the chicken schwarma that comes with a cold drink. I got the vimto, not knowing what it was, and it seemed to be close to a very flavorful hibiscus drink, highly recommended. Also got a black coffee with some sugar, hot and tasty.

The schwarma, cut in halves, was delicious, savory, and filling. The fries were warm, crispy, and well seasoned.

The booth I sat at was cozy and well cushioned. Warm, cozy temperature as the weather dips into 30s.

Great value overall, highly recommend!

The customers here are special the owner lets them all just park in the middle of the street blocking all traffic moving both ways. I've tried this place, the food was gross and the place is awfully dirty.

Worst Somali restaurant, poor service, no customer care and very expensive they are even charging Somali sauce (Maraq), we ordered isbartiimo food for 4 p and they brought food for 2, and if you want extra rice nobody wants to come and take your order, they want you to go to the counter be in the queue and order again.

One of the worst Somali restaurants I have ever ate from. The guy upfront taking orders was really rude and acted like our request was annoying and above him. The food was literally disgusting, and I mean like really gross. Everything from the rice to the meats to the spaghetti was bland and had little to no flavor. The chicken was literally hard to eat and tasted like it was cooked the day before and reheated. The goat meat was nasty and hard to chew and I physically had a hard time chewing it and swallowing it down. They didn’t give us any napkins, no straws, and no utensils to eat with; assuming everyone eats with their hands. Over all horrible experience and will never be eating from there again. You will have better luck eating at another Somali restaurant.

I’ve had my fair share of Somali food from restaurants all across Minnesota and this one is by far the worst , the food was bland had no flavor the spaghetti was bland and tasted like they just got the tomato paste from the can and mixed the noodles and served it without any preparation. The meat was hard to chew. They didn’t consider that some people don’t eat with their hands and didn’t get us forks and spoons, they also didn’t get us no napkins, and no straws for our drinks. The only positive is the sweets they serve up front. Don’t recommend getting authentic Somali food from this spot.

Sometimes food comes a good, sometimes not that much, waiters they need more training in learning how to take orders and serve food, also as a customer my expectation when I sit in the dining area is to see a clean place, all floor full of rice not clean, so if u clean tables after customers leaves, what about the floor? Soup needs to be changed, it’s tastes “cans”, bathroom is horrible to use! Flys everywhere!

. Our new favorite restaurant!
My husband and I came here with our toddler twins on a Friday morning, and we were blown away. We had never tried Somali food before, and while we were a little unsure of what to order, the men behind the counter—along with a kind customer—guided us through the menu. We ended up choosing the chicken stew, a braised goat dish, beef samosas, and Somali tea. What arrived was a true feast: generous portions of incredibly flavorful food. I could happily eat the chicken stew with the crepe-like bread every day. The sauces were phenomenal, and the leftovers fed us for another full day. Most of all, the staff were so warm and welcoming—to us and to our kids. A wonderful, family-friendly spot we can’t wait to return to!
