Good vibes, no hassels, just order at the counter, sit down, and enjoy!Ordered the tonkotsu ramen and ended up chatting with the cashier for a while about music and saxophone.Super chill place, definitely recommend!

This place is smaller, so there is no table service per sé, but everyone was polite and friendly. Menu may not be as big as some other places, but I thought it was very solid. We had a couple ramen options during our visit (the #3 & #4), and both crushed the craving and was very good, just not the best I've had by any means. Saying that, I would have no problem recommended it.

We wanted Ramen and this absolutely hit the craving in every way!!It was simple but the broths were so full of flavor! The noodles and bamboo shoots soaked up the flavor and with every bite was great ?

The good: Cute little ramen shop. I got fried chicken which was very good. Lots of anime posters and such on the walls. Employees were nice, they take cash. The bad: Somewhat difficult to find parking. They only have beverages in bottles/cansParking: Only street parking

Amazing food, but I didn't like the lack of service. The atmosphere was welcoming, however there was nobody to check in on us, and everything as far as sauces, drinks, etc. you had to get yourself. Would definitely go back, but would like to see possible improvements as far as customer service goes.

I've been to Japan 9 times (soon 10). Ramen Kazama Select and their original Ramen Kazama location is by far the closest I've had to real authentic ramen in Japan. And their Karage is very similar to that I had in Japan. I've been to a lot of Ramen places in MN, so far nothing resembles a true, wholesome, comforting bowl of ramen like those I had in japan... Ramen Kazama is legit!!!

This is a comfy spot that feels like home. The friendly staff adds a nice touch post-COVID. The cozy interior sets the stage for a laid-back atmosphere, and the real highlight is the amazing ramen. Broth was flavorful and the noodles cooked perfectly.

I've been to ten or so different ramen places in my life and this is by far my favorite. I always have the tonkotsu and the broth is so rich and velvety.

Mid tier ramen, but a restaurant is more than the food that it serves. This seems to be a “third place”. Genuinely a great place that holds an important distinction for those in the city. People need places like this and I’m ecstatic that it exists, hopefully they get better and better at making their food.

My pick for best ramen shop in the Twin Cities. I have dreams about their dipping ramen, which is only a special on certain days of the week. But in a place where real good Japanese food is really starting to bud, this place was one of the OGs. Obviously the ramen is fantastic, but their donburi and curry are incredibly delicious and an excellent value. Highly recommend.
