Edit: I finally dined there. The food was fantastic, my wife loved the onion rings and the careful service that we were given. Burgers were great. Coleslaw was actually refreshing, and not mayo dumped. Matt and his staff gave us a wonderful time on New Years Day. I will be back, with a bottle of heinz which is a small complaint.

Edit: The manager was very very prompt in responding to my email in resolving this year. In prompt it was less than about 30 minutes when I reached out via email. Which is actually, pretty darn impressive nowadays to take responsibility instead of passing the buck. They get five stars now.

I made Christmas reservations only to learn less than three days before Christmas that they weren't actually open. Their site allowed me to make a reservation. I called them to confirm if they were closed as I found out not from them at all. They did confirm it, and then laid blame on my insisuating that since they've never been open for Xmas, I should of known. Okay, then tell that to your reservation page.Pathetic service right before the holidays.

Even after I called and said it was taken down. It's still up allowing others to book a reservation. I hope there ain't some family that shows up expecting a reservation thay never should of been placed.

Here for a Bachelorette party and couldn’t be happier with this dinner spot. Service was quick, knowledgeable, and accurate. Specialty drinks were well worth the money. I ordered chicken strips and the house-made sauce is incredible. Truffle fries on the side with truffle dipping sauce were so delicious. I would definitely recommend and return.

Met a friend for dinner and the place was decked out for the holidays! Staff was very attentive and our waitress was a lot of fun! Her beer recommendation was yummy, as was the food. Kind of a fun, busy part of downtown!

Had an amazing time and service at Red Cow. Me and my girlfriend came for apps and drinks and the staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. I accidentally forgot my wallet at our table, realized this about 30 minutes afterwards and called, they kept it for me and knew exactly who I was. When I returned we decided to have another drink at the bar and had an amazing interaction with Brian, the manager, who made one of the best espresso martini’s I’ve had! 10/10 would recommend for any outing experience!

I always love this place, best burgers, until last night I found an inch long course black hair in the melted cheese on my burger. For the prices of their food, and beverages, they should have food inspections in place.

Update 12-20-24 I reached out a week ago to the manager who commented back on the review, with no response.

The Double Barrel was a masterpiece in regards to a smash burger. Absolutely phenomenal. The cheese curds are very lightly breaded and served with a triple berry ketchup dipping sauce that is quite addictive. I highly recommend the Red Cow if you’re ever in downtown Minneapolis.

The ketchup was gross and too vinegar-y. Have store ketchup on hand for us conditioned folks.

Our server was awesome. Sadly they were out of bacon, meat needed to be overcooked but was way overcooked. Fries were not as good as I remembered and cocktails were lacking appropriate mix. It was just not as good as previous visits.

Very busy happening kind of place. They were very busy and very accommodating to a large business group that showed up during their busy dinner(sorry 😀) bartenders were working very hard. Food was made quickly and pretty good. Little pricey for portion size. I would definitely go back.
