This small restaurant is a gem of a tapas bar. We opted for seafood tapas and our server Fernando had several recommendations. There are a variety of tapas from meat, veggies and seafood. The plating is beautiful and the flavors are amazing. We hadn't been in a few years and glad we went back this weekend. We were very satisfied and full but want to go back and try some of the other tapas now:)Vegetarian options: There are several tapas that are vegetarian.

Others have said that they wish they could give this place more than 5 stars, and I agree. The service was great, lots of happy people. We got there at 5pm on a Friday and it wasn’t super busy so service was very quick. Very cute and intimate space in a nice neighborhood. I did not have any wine, but their selection looked really nice! Flavors were so interesting and tasty. God, were they tasty. I want to come back here for my birthday and get more dishes for sure! Also, dishes were easily made gluten free by asking for bread on the side.

Went here for my 34th birthday on 3/17 and this was one of the best dinner dates I have ever had.

Love this neighborhood gem in South Minneapolis Recently stopped by when in the area for happy hour and it is so nice to see that some things and faces never change! Ordered a few tapas favorites such as the stuffed Piquillo peppers and the Albondigas (meatballs in a saffron tomato broth) and the Plato Iberico - the Spanish charcuterie plate 2 glasses of their house Chardonnay for $12 is a steal these days! Service is fast efficient and friendly familiar faces! Ambiance is as close to being back on vacation in Spain, cute, quaint and Spanish guitar music transports me back to Seville Free parking on the street Check this place out! Wish I lived closer I would prob stop by once a week!!

As good as tapas get. The best service. 10/10 would recommend. Appropriately expensive - a good value.

Great food, impeccable service, nice location. Took a Lyft to and from so I could enjoy their selection of wines. This is my go-to foodie fix. If you haven't dined here, you're missing out on a great experience.

Unbelievably good food. Second time here and it is outstanding. Crab cakes are stellar and the tres leches cake melts in your mouth. Sangria is delicious and refreshing. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Our first time and we loved the food, the service, and the ambiance. Compared to Spanish Tapas Bars (Sevilla & Granada) the pricing for wine & tapas are high but, compared to US prices, the prices are comparable and the food and wine are great!

This was a cool place! There was so much variety in food and it was fun to pick and choose. Service was very good as well. Perhaps a bit spendy but will still go back.

We had the piquillo peppers which were really good, our favorite. Also the crab cakes, fairly bland other than the sauce and I prefer them with large pieces of crab. The scallops were great, though we split them and my partner's was underdone. The beet salad was very nice as were the empanadas. The Alhambra Malbec was a great accompaniment. We were quite full after all that! The small plates really add up and I'm starting to notice inflation in restaurants.

Best tapas in the twin cities. Can't believe it's longevity and just experiencing it after being around for 10+ years. High Quality plates, excellent service and great ambiance.

Fernando was a wonderful server and took care of us all night. It is a small restaurant with great staff, food, and atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious you can’t go wrong with anything you order off the menu. 10/10 I highly recommend.

This is a great way to share a delicious range of dishes. We enjoyed salad and cauliflower plates, lamb and scallops plates, and two desserts. Tapas are such a fun and festive way to eat, especially in a cozy neighborhood atmosphere.

Skip the steakhouse and come here! One of the best meals I've ever eaten!!! I really don't see how you could rate this place less than 5 stars.IMO, Rincon 38 is the best value for a night out in the Twin Cities. (so much so I almost didn't want to share my review so I can hoard them to myself!)Well done Rincon 38. We will be back very soon.
