Cool spot in the north loop. Came around 12:30 on a Sunday when it closes at 1. Nothing but plain bagels left and no decaf coffee 🄲 Artisan bagel was pretty good! The bagels are more bready than that really chewy kind that I prefer.

My wife & I love Rise. Coming here is a treat for us. If we both get bagels & coffees it’s about $20/person, so it definitely gets expensive quick, but we like it a lot.

We usually get the Artisan, which is delicious- eggs, bacon, (Gouda?) cheese, sweet mustard of some kind, and arugula. The gluten free bun was kinda mid. It was kind of dry and just broke apart. I feel like they used to have different ones or a gluten free bagel or something, but it was okay. Glad they offer a gf option.

My wife got an iced miel, which was good, but they mixed the honey in with the cold drink, which causes it to settle at the bottom like the picture shows. She was kinda bummed about that. An easy work around for that is mixing the honey with the hot espresso before putting it in the iced cup. 😊 then it’s blended much better. My hot latte with oatmilk was pretty good.

Our friend that we brought to breakfast with loved her strawberry matcha and her ā€œclassicā€ bagel sandwich.

Atmosphere is dope when it’s not busy- early morning or before close is usually pretty empty, but brunch and early PM can be super busy. Especially weekends.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bun option for bagel sandwiches

Parking: Parking is NOT good. Lol. Sometimes you can grab a street spot nearby if they aren’t busy, but brunch hours… good luck. 😬

Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t think so. I think it’s stairs at both entrances.

Place is cute enough.
And I appreciate that they have vegan options. But I’m from NY and lived in Montreal for awhile. So I know bagels!
And sadly, the ones here are more like bread with a hole in them. The ideal bagels are a bit ā€œsnappyā€ on the outside and chewy inside. These were… bready.

Great food and quick service. It was pretty busy so you might have a hard time finding a seat during peak hours, but it’s not like taking a bagel to go is hard. Had the everything bagel w/maple cream cheese and it was wonderful. My fiancĆ© had the jalapeƱo cream cheese w/his bagel and he said it was the best jalapeƱo cream cheese he’s ever had.

As a self proclaimed bagel lord the bagels taste like they are pre made in a factory and warmed up in a microwave. The flavors are weak across the board and the texture is un appetizing. This is the consensus of my friend group as well. I have tried various sandwiches and bagels there over the last year or two.

This place is hyped because it looks nice and is a great location. That's what you are paying for.

Service was mediocre. Bagels were super dry, rest of food was mid at best and everything was EXTREMELY over priced. Plus the parking situation was horrendous

The coffee is good. Bagels are dry and salty. The place is cute. Prices are kind of high.

Love the location, and the bagels are pretty darn good too.

Parking: Grab a metered spot if you can. There are also paid ramps on the neighborhood, but that may be a bit more of a walk

Kid-friendliness: It is a bagel shop - good for all ages! Mine aren’t little anymore, but they do have high chairs if you need!

Great bagels and schmear. Tried the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and the plain bagel with salted maple cream cheese.

$16 for a bagel and coffee, and it wasn't good. Eggs are pre-made, can't custom order anything.

Not impressed at all. First off, they don’t serve decaf. They don’t allow you to mix and match what you want on your bagel. The bagels have the flavor of warm cardboard. I paid $7.50 for eggs, cheese and warm cardboard. The bagels have a bread like Texture, I prefer a chewy bagel texture. Clearly, it is a trendy spot don’t be fooled. Both my daughter and I only ate 1/2 of our respective bagels if that doesn’t sum it up.

Nearly $50 for two bagel sandwiches and a bagel with cream cheese and two coffees. Bagel was hard and mediocre

I thought it was gonna be a lox bagel, turned out to be cooked salmon. The salmon was very dry. This thing costs $17 which is insane for two pieces of bread and dried salmon.

I don’t understand why this place has 4 stars, I just moved here and I’m starting to think Minnesota people don’t know what good food is :(

Not a great bagel or sandwitch. Really overpriced - $16. The salmon was good, but I guess I was expecting lox, which it wasn't. Busy place for a mediocre bagel
