Long wait, service was very slow, the food was good but it was like pool food at nice restaurant prices, it didn't really compute how they arrived at this price point for quality delivered. Also this place is pretty loud despite being outside.

Exceptional service from arrival to departure, great and experienced staff, attentive to details. If you don not want to spend the night, you have to do one or 2 things, you have to have dinner at Mara and any spa service!!

Our three days were just perfect. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and desperate to fulfill their goal of making everything about staying here ideal. Spotless facilities, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, good food… I’m not sure what more to say in order to make my point. One cannot go wrong staying at a Four Seasons!

Stopped by Riva Terrace for lunch while back in the city. Good food, solid drinks and great service! The Smoked Chicken wrap was very good, especially with a little pepperoncini aioli on the side. The only downside was that it was a particularly warm day, it gets quite hot on the terrace, and we were told that all of the shaded tables were being held for reservations. The Maitre d’ did help us move to a shaded seat once another party left which was very much appreciated; however, if it’s a hot/sunny day consider making a reservation.

Totally perfect. My tall Tanqueray was pleasing.Pan roasted gnocchi so flavorful and bright.Service very friendly and welcoming from Henry and others. My adult daughter and I were peering over the gated pool area next to the Terrace and we were asked by an employee if we would like to view the city from that area. We found that gesture very above and beyond and we were then able to completely take it all in on such a beautiful summer night.Thank you.. we will be back and have already told our friends.

This place does not feel like MN - you are immediately transported to paradise! It is the perfect place for dinner or just drinks with friends with the ability to enjoy the outdoors. The service was also amazing! I don't drink alcohol and our server was able to recommend some mocktails for me that wasn't on the menu but fit the vibe of the night! This is the food we ordered with their rating: -Mushroom Arancini- Fantastic! 9/10-Truffle fries - they are thin and crispy which is perfect for our table! 10/10-Walleye Sandwich- - 6/10 - the flavor was there but my bread to fish ratio was off and I had a lot of leftover bread because there wasn't enough fish to fit the bread-Smash burger - it's a good burger, but not the best 7.5/10-Skirt steak "salad" - this was a 4/10 the steak was good, but it was served on a bed of tomatoes and not a bed of leafy greens which doesn't feel disclosed on the menu - this was not how we normally like our salads, so this is for sure a personal ratingPro Tip- We were able to order truffle aioli to add to our side of fries that accompanied our burger and sandwichThe Food was good, but overall I'm not running to go back due to their limited menu - I know this place is only open seasonally so the limited menu is understandable, but a larger menu would entice me to come back (soon AND often!). The only other reason I would give this place a 4/5 star rating was because our food took a REALLY long time to come out, and we did not finish eating until around closing time, and felt rushed to leave. I eat slower and our server cleared everyone's plates before mine because I was still eating which made me feel rushed to finish my meal that I waited a really long time for.

Yeaaah I'll be back ASAP. Came here on a whim after another event downtown and I'm so glad we did. A perfect Minnesota summer evening can be topped off with the ideal ambiance and relaxation at the Four Seasons Riva Terrace. We shared the pan roasted gnocchi with Burrata, Peas, Snap Peas, Spring Onion and Lemon. Wow. Wow wow wow. Flavor galore. Loved the texture and taste. Henry provided lovely service and made the night easy and fun. As soon as you step on to the terrace, you feel like you've been transported to a different city. I'll be recommending this to friends all summer long.

I got a real "see and be seen" vibe from this place. Which is fine if that's what you're into. The drinks and food were fine - definitely not up to the standard of Mara in the same building.Went for drinks on a a Friday night. My friend and I called ahead to see what the availability was and was told there were spots. However when we arrived about 5-10 minutes later, there were only two spots at the bar left. Service was a bit slow, but the staff were kind and accommodating. The drinks were okay - nothing spectacular. We also ended up getting burgers. Also just okay. I'd give this place another chance, but I'm not super excited to return.

The service was inattentive. Multiple people had empty drinks through the night. The food was very lackluster, fishy shrimp in the salad. They also decided to close their kitchen early. Honestly, it appeared as though they didn’t want guests.

I was there to celebrate my four year wedding anniversary with my husband. My husband is a Caucasian male, and I am East African Lady. Our Circle of friends are multicultural and we are very proud of are circle of friends. We were late for our reservation about 10 minutes tops. Somehow a very privilege Edina Caucasian folks who were only two people by the way decided to take our spot and refused to get up. We were not bothered by because the hostess was the nicest, kindest human being on earth. However, the bartenders and the servers were a nightmare and harassing us. I work in the hospitality industry. I work for a five star hotel. This is my profession. I am from Minneapolis Minnesota. I know Minnesotas are the nicest human beings in this country. I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was hurt to the core that my Home town, my own city people would treat me with such a depravity and unprofessional, Inhumane environment , and careless attitude. It broke my heart and hurt me to the core. Afterwords, I made multiple attempts to reach out to the food and beverage manager and Director. only to express my disappointment and to be heard. However my feelings went unnoticed nor understood or care for. I only wanted to express and convey my feelings.I want nothing for free, as I pay for everything, I desire of luxury. I can honestly say I would never recommend the Four Seasons establishment in Minneapolis nor do I plan to return ever again. I will stay with my Four Seasons in San Francisco where I receive true five star service. I do know the associations that work in SF property and they know what a true five star service means. I only hope the associations that work in the Four Seasons Minneapolis Minnesota will inspire to do better and hope to adopt truly to understand and emulate five star service in hospitality and stands to care for every individual equally. Please understand as a hospitality, professional, I am not coming from a place of maliciousness, I have given multiple chances to be heard and convey my feelings, however no one was willing to talk to me or get back to me.

Wonderful gem! My friend and I stayed here for an extended weekend to see a concert, and let me say, this hotel is at the level of any other 5-star hotel in a big city. As someone who likes reading detailed reviews before booking, I thought I would share my pros and cons. PROS: 1. The lobby & rooms are gorgeous. I think this hotel has been around for a year, so everything is fresh and new. We stayed in a Premier Room. It was spacious and luxurious. The bathroom has marble and brass finishes, a large shower with a rain head and handheld sprayer, two vanity mirrors, and a soaking tub! They use Le Labo products that smell amazing. Admittedly, I was a little disappointed that they don’t do individual soaps and shampoo, but dispensers are better for the environment. The beds are really comfortable, and they have a little iPad thing that makes ordering services and booking reservations very easy. Also, small detail, but there are controls by the bed to open the curtains, and I always love this feature in a hotel room! It makes getting out of bed a little easier. 2. Loved the full service pool with a restaurant on the deck. The staff was kind and attentive, and the food and drinks were sublime. There is also an indoor pool that’s connected to the spa that I would suggest checking out! Im not a huge indoor pool person, but this one felt more like an extension of the spa. And you get access to a great “locker room” area with a hot tub, sauna, and steam room. 3. The service is everything one would expect from a Four Seasons hotel! Quick and efficient staff members that went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we could possibly need and more. All of the food we ordered from room service was delicious. Our room was clean when we returned and beds were turned down in the evenings. CONS: 1. Literally my only complaint is how expensive everything is. But again, its a Four Seasons so what do you expect. I will say that you get what you pay for. If you want to splurge on a luxurious stay while in Minneapolis, then I’d say this is the right place for you. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Minneapolis, and I will definitely be coming back soon!

Very nice rooftop with live music. Great view both to skyline and Hennepin bridge. We just had cocktails as we were heading to dinner. I will go back again and try some food too. Very good rooftop option with live music in Minneapolis.

We went for our first time to the aperitivo hour. Atmosphere and service was great. The cocktails were just ok. Food: arancinis and fries where tasty but small portions. They don’t specify that the “Choose 3 for $25” are basically half the portion of the regular size appetizer, so you are paying more for less, not what you expect of a happy hour / aperitivo hour. The artichoke dip didn’t taste at all like artichoke.. very bland, and the Allora Spritz was way too watery.

Such a cute spot!! The view is amazing, and the prices aren't unreasonable considering that. The service was also very helpful and attentive, and we didn't at all feel rushed which I sincerely appreciated!I loved my allora spritz cocktail. The truffle fries were also a hit, but we genuinely enjoyed everything we ordered! The 3/$25 apertivo hour deal is a pretty great move with a small group! Will certainly be returning!
