We went on a Thursday night and there was live music, which was fun. Service was wonderful and food was delicious. My husband and I split the small Caesar salad, spinach artichoke dip and asparagus risotto and everything was excellent, more than enough food for two people.

Came here a month ago and thought it was such a cute spot. They had a great menu, great service, and was super covid-friendly. HOWEVER, I purchased a bottle of wine here because I liked what I had been drinking and wanted to support their business, especially during Covid. I didn't bother googling the bottle because, again, I wanted to support the restaurant and figured it would be marked up slightly from what I would pay elsewhere but I didn't care. The bottle at Riverview was $32. Imagine my shock and horror when I went to buy the same bottle at Total Wines and it was $5!!! As I said, I understand some markup on the bottle. That makes sense and is typical for a restaurant, but charging 6.5x the price is just egregious and offensive. I was planning on coming back here but they lost my business. So, so disappointed they would take such advantage of their clientele like this. I wouldn't be writing this if they had just charged me $24.

We sat on the patio and had a couple drinks and some delicious fries. The band, Machinery Hill, was fun and played well together. It was a nice relaxing evening.

Riverview Wine Bar deserves a sixth star. Outstanding staff, excellent food, and a collection of wines that will make anyone happy. The staff knows the wines and is happy to help you find the right one. If you're still not sure, get a flight or two. The food is always wonderful. Always a daily special, always a burger of the day, and both are always good. Can't recommend Riverview Wine Bar enough.
They have a great gluten-free burger, and good ambiance.

Have been coming here for years. Great wine, great servers and great food. Parking can be tough with the theater across the street, but this place is worth it. Love coming here before a movie.the desserts are worth a stop even if you don’t like wine. They also offer beer.

We sat in the corner next to the fireplace, so for once, in MN winter, I wasn't cold while going out. (It's indoors, btw. I just freeze everywhere). Wine and food is expensive but our server was super cool and I loved the ambiance and comfort.
