Booked a day pass for the spa which is advertised as 21 plus only, however when we got up there several young kids were splashing a lot in the pool. There was a staff member upstairs but it looked like they were stretched very thin. The day pass was a hefty 65 dollars a piece so we asked for a refund and ended up heading out.

Tried to go today with my sister in law visiting from Europe, was turned away at the door having my 1.5 year old with which seems a little ridiculous as obviously the baby isn’t drinking.
We showed up right at 3pm the second it opened & we’re turned away. Not like they would be busy then… and would the same happen to a father & child? Will not ever try to go again.

Absolutely loved it. The wait staff are fabulous, smart, and kind. The atmosphere is spectacular. And the view is amazing. Just be aware that if you sit by the A/C motor outside, you will get an interesting (I feel is uncomfortable, vibration). The sliders are delightfully delicious 😋

Marlena is my angel!! She was so professional- we drive from Edina to enjoy a cocktail at the Hewing because she is so prompt, accommodating, and sweet!

This review is based solely on the rooftop experience during a music event. Not good, unless you are a guest of the hotel, lounging poolside with one of the huge chaise lounge chairs opened flat taking up maximum space where at least three normal chairs would be for those (also paying) to see the show. Much more attention could be paid to maximizing the seating situation on concert nights to improve the experience. Not everyone can get there hours early, nor should they have to. Anyone who paid for a ticket should not have to stand up for two hours. The whole thing can be laid out better. To maximize seating, everyone being able to see the show, everyone who paid for a ticket getting a seat, and increased service staffing. Make it feel important to you that everyone has a good experience so people want to come back, and to recommend the experience (and the hotel) to others. That’s what customer service excellence looks like.

Aesthetics was giving! The ambience was unmatched. Food is 4/5, but the vibes is 6/5! I’ll be back! I love it’s not crowded and busy but definitely somewhere you can chat still enjoy the music

Chuy makes the best Tequila French 75 in the city! Love it here 🥂

I ordered a mimosa, and it was a good drink but a little overpriced. They were $20 and came in cracked plastic mimosa glasses. The staff was super friendly, though.

A fun time on the roof deck with friends. Great views, fancy drinks.

Very small space. Overcrowded. Hard to get to the bar to get a drink.
