What a nice surprise this place! The avocado toast and pastries were delicious, and so was the coffee. The staff was so friendly even though it was quite busy. Looking forward to go back!
The coffee and pastries are typically really good. The problem is their service cannot keep up with the volume of their dining room. The main log jam is the barista area. It’s simply not large enough. I get you have to balance labor dollars vs sales but they never seem to be lacking customers. The only other knock I have is it’s so loud & noisy in here. I don’t know how people come here and try to get any work done.
The service was excellent, and so was the atmosphere. However, I tried several desserts and thought they were overly sweet. I don't understand why a turkey club sandwich tasted sweet and had syrup/honey on it. Their latte also was very sweet. I didn't like it and wish they would provide healthier options.
