We reserved a private room at Ruth’s Chris over a month in advance of our date to celebrate a college graduation. Meghan, Private Dining Coordinator, assured us that if we paid extra for a larger room, they could accommodate us all sitting together at one large table if we had 28 or fewer guests (we had 23). Then, a few hours before our arrival on the day of our event, Meghan emailed to say, because we had more than 20 guests, they could not fit us at one table. When we arrived they had us set up at three separate small tables. This was very disappointing and really killed the celebration, as everyone felt detached from one another. There was plenty of space in the room for one large table, which only made it that much more frustrating. - I was surprised when they required me to set my gratuity amount days in advance of our event, rather than the night of, but I understand why now…if you know your service will be underwhelming, better to get the guests to lock into a higher tip amount in advance…versus if you are confident your guests will be impressed, you would want to wait and have them determine the tip amount the night of. It is sad that the priority at Ruth’s Chris seems to be to get the maximum amount of money out of the guest, over delivering a satisfactory guest experience.

I ordered a classic 6oz steak with shrimp. Asked for my steak to be medium well, next time I'll ask for it to be medium because it ended up a tougher and dryer than I wanted. But, our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful.
Excellent location. The manager came over and introduced himself. Service was top notch. Food was best I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend this Ruth Chris location, it’s very well run. Had a great experience and will be returning.

Our waitress Aly made our whole evening!! She was caring, attentive and gave delicious descriptions of every item on the menu and wonderful recommendations. The steaks had a tasty crust and you couldnt deny the quality of the meat. Amazing steaks. We finished our evening with cappuccinos and it was an incredible date night!!!

I came to this place by myself for a national conference. The overall experience was awesome! I booked a bar place since I am on my own but they were flexible about siting me at one of the table when the bar was full. The food I ordered were amazing. I ordered spicy shrimp, grilled sprouts, and classic brûlée! They taste amazing. One of the bar tenders are so nice to check on me frequently and make me feel like I am not alone. I like it so much! I will definitely recommend it!

Jon was amazing during our visit. The food was exceptional. The atmosphere was smoothing and calm even in a busy restaurant. Great, once in a lifetime experience.
Rhett was our server and he was great! Very friendly and attentive. There was never a moment where are glasses were empty he was always there for refills. He answered any questions that we had for him. This was the best service we had during our Minneapolis trip. The food was 10/10 of course very flavorful and came out very quickly. Highly recommend coming in and ask for Rhett to be your server, he was that good!
