I wish the dining area had a bit more “atmosphere” (very high ceilings loud noise from the global market means it feels a little like eating in a high school gym) but I really appreciate the number of vegan options and the creative drink menu. Shared the vegan tacos al pastor, pupusas, chocolate tamal dessert, and a tamarind margarita. The entrees and drink were very good. Neither of us really liked the dessert—it wasn’t especially rich or flavorful, and not as good as similar (non-vegan) desserts I’ve had in the past. But, I appreciate there being an option.

Holy Cow! The vegan/vegetarian menu they have!!! Please please please tell me again!! I went for lunch on Friday and had the vegan cecviche. Amazing! So good that I went back today, and got the vegan Tacos al Pastor. BEST vegan/vegetarian tacos I have had anywhere in the U.S. The meat (faux) was so well flavored. And then the tortillas, and the tortillas, and woooow! Tortillas of my dreams. They were so soft, it felt like I was eating air. Soooo good. AND as good as the food, best Mexican food in the Cities, was the SERVICE. The ladies from Guatemala. From Santa Rosa, don't know it. And Puerto Barrios, know it, know it well. Saludos a Jah Paolo, and Ras Kandi. LOVE THIS PLACE. LOVE THIS FOOD.

I had an amazing dining experience thanks to Jaqueline’s outstanding service! We enjoyed Pollo Poblano, Pupusas, and Fajitas, all of which were delicious. Jaqueline was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her warm hospitality and professional demeanor truly enhanced our visit. High five to Jaqueline for making our dining experience memorable! Highly recommend!

Salsa a la Salsa is worth a visit, whether you're already at Midtown Global Market or just looking for vegan Mexican options in Minneapolis. Their dedicated vegan menu has a really nice range of options, from pupusas to chocolate tamales. Personally, I love the emplatanadas (enchiladas with plantains, vegan cheese, mole, and a side tamale), and the tacos al pastor are also great. This is simple but solid food at a good price.

Without a doubt the best tamales I've ever had. I've had many different meals from Salsa and they are all awesome. Superfast takeout and very nice customer service.

We love it here! You can’t beat their happy hour, the staff is helpful and friendly, free wifi to get some work done during quieter week days, and we really appreciate the vegan menu (the vegan dessert is SO good).
