Beautiful setting in the center of the park. They were well staffed, but didn't seem to be helping each other. That would explain the line out the door. Our group thought the food was just not good. Red beans & rice was flavorless. Fish tasted like it was deep fried in month old oil. Excellent location to have a drink outside, but just skip the food.

This will always be one of my favorite places in Minneapolis. Delicious food, great drinks, and a beautiful view, it can't be beat when the weather is nice. Yes there will be a line, sometimes it will be really long, just plan on it and you'll be fine. The addition of a dedicated drink counter to enjoy a beer while you stand in line was brilliant.

We have been a fan of Sea Salt for many years, but unfortunately for the first time we had bad shrimp when it came to our shrimp cocktail.
The shrimp tasted like ammonia which means it wasn't fresh . When a place just sells seafood this is a bad omen.
We won't be back because it just is too much of a risk now. I did bring it to someone's attention and due to being busy I don't think much was done which was not cool due to the severity of that situation.
Hopefully no one got sick, we didn't but feel like we dodged a bullet.

Fish planks were great sized and I was impressed that the staff come to find your table because it seemed super random where people may end up. Tons of shade! Delicious food!

Fantastic location 50 ft from Minnehaha Falls. Great deck. Large selection of casual food and drink. The fish sandwich with coleslaw is yummy at a very good price. I've always liked this place. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately lines are frequently long at mealtime.

I very much enjoy the fried oyster basket.
Pretty reasonable prices and what's most important is the seafood seems fresh every time I've had the oyster platter. The meal comes with an adequate supply of deep-fried battered oysters, two dipping sauces, a small piece of melon, and a cup of coleslaw, I particularly appreciate the fact that they have a various assortment of various hot sauces available to choose from, which adds to the pleasures of eating the fresh tasting seafood

I love sea salt eatery! They have the best crab cakes, fried fish, and curry soup. Their oysters are delicious too. And I love the beer selections there. I wish this place was open year-round.

The food was appropriately priced for the portion size. I got a Po'Boy it was massive, and delicious. Slightly undercooked fish. The line had to be 70 people long, it took quite a while to get to order, but once we ordered we got our food quickly.

This place is awesome. I will be recommending it to anyone headed to the Twin Cities area, especially when the weather is good. There's great food, great drinks, and emasculate atmosphere (I mean, you're right by a waterfall). 10/10! Go to Sea Salt!
