Amazing!!! I always come here when I visit Minneapolis. The flavors are interesting and delicious and the dipped cones are extravagant. I had hibiscus mango and it was divine.
Actually incredible ice cream! I was very surprised and impressed!
This place is delicious!!! The store decor and design were adorable and really made you feel like it was an 80s ice cream parlor. Bonus points for the staff being nice and patient!
So creamy and rich...even their vegan chocolate feels decadent
Lots of ice cream options and everything we tried was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.
Tried the Nicolet Ave Pothole icecream, and it was one of the best chocolate incecreams I have ever had! Highly recommended 👌
The ice cream is great. I love that you can try a sample before you commit to the whole scoop! There is a great variety so accommodates your whole group, everyone can find a flavor they love.
Great help from staff! We wanted to figure out how to transport a gallon a long way & Colby was great answering all our questions.
Vegetarian options: They have sorbet & vegan options. I’m not vegan/vegetarian, simply don’t prefer dairy when enjoying the goodness that is Sebastian Joe’s frozen treat.
Parking: Depending on time of day you go, it may be difficult to find a spot right out front & you may have to park away and walk a block/two.

Fresh coffee, roasted on site. Friendly employees with lots of unique ice cream flavors.
Parking: There's a decent amount of street parking on Franklin.
Kid-friendliness: It's an ice cream shop!

Several flavors of delicious ice cream to choose from…and if that’s not enough sugar, there are also some baked good to choose from!

Amazing ice cream, coffee and popovers!! The space is artsy & relaxed! They open early and close late. Staff is always fun, friendly and upbeat! I just flat out love SJ Ice Cream Café.
My only gripe is that they don't do a good job of cleaning the sitting area or the bathrooms.

Manager was incredibly kind and cooperative. Jumped at the chance to serve us. Puts herself before her staff, going as far as to take time out of her duties to grab a new tub of ice cream when her employees were already busy. I think her name was Chloe. Not sure. Will be coming back here soon. I hope they have milk and cookies again!

For a locally made, top tier, ice cream experience, go here. Creative flavors that hit the mark, reliable classics, to die for ice cream sandwiches, and homemade cones. Plenty of seating and if not take a slow stroll towards Caffetto on Lyndale for a cold brew or espresso to finish things off.
