Ordered the simplest brown sugar boba, it was fine. A single server was on duty. Nice ambience inside!
A little pricey but I love the royal milk tea!
I really like going to Sencha occasionally for a sweet treat. I like the different boba that they have, and they even have some desserts. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try boba or a yummy treat!
Vegetarian options: I believe everything besides a few of the snacks are all vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: They have coconut, oat, lactose free, gluten free, and almond milk options.
Kid-friendliness: No inappropriate music plays, and the atmosphere is nice.

Bring a sweater! It's super cold inside and if you want to come in and do some remote work or a long chat, you might get chilly. Not sure why it's so cold inside.
You have to plan ahead on coming here because of all the construction which is absolute madness. Lots of traffic and confusion.
On the other hand, they have tons of really cool looking treats, all based on Alice in Wonderland cartoons. They're mostly all sweets even though they do have some bagels and other foods.
The bubble teas are great and you can substitute water for tea or milk if you don't want any caffeine.
Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian items.
Dietary restrictions: Items can be substituted.
Parking: Lots of construction in front. Hard to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: Somewhat kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but with all the construction right now it makes things difficult.

I’m really gonna miss this place… they’re not going anywhere; I just moved out of Uptown lol. This was my ideal third space up until I moved out, I got so much done here.
On top of the atmosphere obviously being immaculate, the staff is all so chill and kind and genuinely seem to care about the well-being of the business, which speaks to the fact that the management is doing something right. Everything they do there is very smartly implemented - whether it be de-escalating a situation that happened in their establishment or ensuring that they key to the bathroom doesn’t get lost.
They also host tons of events that serve as great opportunities to get to know new people in the area with similar interests or explore new music/art!
I will say, the boba itself is extremely mid lol. I’ve had their boba on two separate occasions and it lacked flavor both times. The popping boba flavors are great though! And the drinks themselves are quite tasty; the seasonal ones are really inventive. Their snacks and seasonal snacks are also worthwhile. And, lastly, the merch is cute af.
If I still lived in Uptown, they’d continue getting my business for years. It really was a great place to work at.

Overall amazing experience. Sent there every day for a consecutive week since it was near a summer program I attended, Mity. The service was amazing and they provided plenty of vegan alternatives to the drinks. I personally preferred the Mango and coconut and Peach cooler with no tapioca pearls if anyone wants a suggestion. You won't regret!

Sencha is a sensational neighborhood staple. It’s always good sips and great vibes whenever I’ve been. I wish their menu was a bit easier to read and choose from; it can be a bit overwhelming trying to decide what to get from all their options. It would helpful to have a step-by-step flowchart in addition to the pre-made drink options. That said I also always love the events they put on here like Studio Ghibli trivia, and info sessions about tea. They have a community bulletin board too. Overall, Sencha is a well loved gem in Uptown. It never misses, especially on a summer’s day. A superb spot to work, chat, or chill. Thanks Sencha!

The prettiest drinks you’ll ever see! I mean, just look at this video, it’s like the entire galaxy in a cup. Watch out for their limited drinks and events because they’re so fun!

Stopped here on our last night in Minnesota as we were there for a wedding, and boba options seemed slim in the Minneapolis area (we're used to lots of options in Phoenix). It was between Sencha, Niko Niko, or Tiger Milk as far as review scores went, since we're willing to drive 10-20 miles for good boba.
Decided on Sencha as the reviews were generally more favorable. We ordered a Royal Milk Tea, a Taro milk tea, and a Midnight milk tea (wintermelon), and unfortutely all three of them were very, very bland. The Midnight had the most flavor by far, but the brown sugar milk tea and the taro tasted like 90% water. I've had probably thousands of milk teas all over the country, and I've actually never had a Brown Sugar Milk Tea that tasted like this or was this bland, to the extent that I honestly doubted if there was even any milk or brown sugar in it? It just tasted like watered down black tea with maybe a splash of milk in it, and thank god I ordered boba in it, because that was literally the only sweetness in the drink. I understand some places make them sweeter or less sweet than other businesses, but many places offer a sliding scale for sweetness. 50% sweetness, 75% sweetness, full sweet. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that their drinks normally actually taste like milktea, because this was pretty terrible.
The staff were very nice to be clear, and the place has a cozy, cute atmosphere that would fit in perfectly with all of the 5 star places we frequent in Arizona. It's a shame, because this is really our one and only impression of Sencha.
Hopefully they can dial-in their recipes a bit more and do some quality control, and I feel like it can easily become a 5-star establishment!

I had no clue what I wanted and had the employee just make a mystery drink. It ended up being amazing. Only thing that sucks is parking but I’ll definitely be back
