I am from Louisiana and this food and environment makes me feel back at home. Best chicken around, love the fries and their sauce. Fantastic staff. All that said- and this might be controversial- I feel like the Mac and cheese isn't quite there yet. Needs more tang.
We got a variety of things to try out. Variety app sampler included wings (choose bone in or out and sauce), tenders (choose sauce), fried cheese cubes, string onion fries, and some veggies on the side. We also got “Legs for Days” which SAYS it’s 2 jumbo chicken legs but really, they’re normal size. Just cut out and flattened. Also comes with fries and coleslaw. With all that said, the food just wasn’t that great. The “jumbo chicken legs” were dry and bland. As for the bone in wings in the apps, I got Njim Spice and it was way too salty. Not a good balance. Everything else was sub par and as expected. This isn’t a place I would go for food, but it’s in a good, convenient location, and the staff is amazing. So I’d probably come here again. The slushy alcohol drink was apartment very good as well. Give that a try! Maybe just come for alcohol? ?
Tried this place out last night and was pleasantly surprised! We went on a Friday night around 7 and got seated right away. Ordered a couple of specialty cocktails which were very decent but a little on the sweet side for my taste. For food we got the battered green beans, bone in Buffalo wings, and the tacos. Everything was delicious but he tacos were my favorite! mango salsa they come topped with is AMAZING and very fresh. The service was friendly and no real complaints there, a little slow and the timing of the items we ordered being brought to the table was a little off (i.e. my boyfriends entry arrived a solid 5 minutes before mine), but not a big deal. Waitress even accommodated my request for a drink that wasn't on the menu, which was very much appreciated! Will be visiting again!P.s. if you're looking for a quite place to have a conversation this might not be it- the music is VERY loud and "clubby" ?
Bad experience. Service wasn’t that great. Our waiter seemed annoyed with us. We didn’t get everything we ordered and we were serviced uncooked chicken. But that isn’t the reason I’m writing this review and giving it a one star. Look at photo. Cheddar was thrown on a biscuit and they called it a cheddar biscuit.
This Hawaiian burger was delish. I prefer my food spicy so it didn't win me completely. The flavors came together nicely.
Great ambience. Their sampler platter was only 10$ and their staff was really cool! It was good food too! Their dry rubs are great. It made for some really good unique chicken tenders! Would recommend!
The food is absolutely delicious, but the portions are kinda small for the somewhat high prices. Tiny but fantastic wings, medium sized sides. The hot honey sauce slaps hard.
Good wings, a little much for what you get but good is good food. Chicken sandwich was good, a lil greasy but freshly cooked. Great music btw!
????The food definitely deserves 5 stars, the atmosphere 5 stars, the music 5 stars oh and the casamigos margarita 5 stars! We had the chicken wings my mom asked for all flats the waitress said she didn’t think they could but could do majority my mom still received all flats so that’s always a plus she ordered red beans with it but got them about 15 min after chicken ,waffle fries were some of the best I ever had but the $7 seasoned sour cream made me laugh because I couldn’t believe it was $7 (this is coming from a person that does not care about price esp if it is good but I am a business person as well and thought they were reaching lol BUT when you taste it….woooooowwwwww AMAZING So yes safe to say I paid $21 for waffle fries and sour cream (pic of sour cream posted) lol but some of the best I ever had…the red beans and rice to die for (red beans and rice pic posted) …literally amazing food amazing drink…we waited about 45 min for the food on a Saturday night…we laughed and listened to good music…because of the long wait and $7 sour cream I’ll give it a over all 4 stars! Yes would most definitely go back and would most definitely refer people!
The food was overall terrible. I tried a couple of items from the menu and the quality was not great. The Nashville chicken sandwich was no where near spicy they use an oil that’s supposed to be hot but made the sandwich super greasy and no flavor. The waffle fries were terrible, tasted like a frozen bag from grocery store. The service was not great, she messed up the orders and forgot items. Same with the cook, they did not follow what was actually ordered. Do not order soda from this place it’s definitely an off brand with zero carbonation and tasted like water. I was super hopeful for a good chicken place, but this one lacks lots of flavor! Their menu looks so promising but really fell flat on spice, and taste. Also the drinks are over priced for a tiny glass, but that’s also just uptown.

Fantastic food, friendly service, and energizing atmosphere! You can’t go wrong. I’ll let the photos do the talking but there are some things worth saying explicitly:The food was delicious. The breading on the Nashville Hottie is super light and flaky, not heavy, and the whole thing was tastefully spicy—not insanely hot. It was really messy to eat, be warned—but you’re going to a wing place so you’re gonna be washing up afterward anyway. The wings were meaty and crispy. The ranch seemed kinda watery though, I will say.Staff were so friendly! Our waitresstook good care of us and at the end ofour meal we were given free dessert by one of the managers who took a photo of us with our clean baskets. It was a totally unexpected and appreciated gesture. They have a great atmosphere, from the window-side seating to the bar, to the back patio, upstairs, and even the bathrooms. Everything is vibrant. They have an abundance of TVs so it makes for a great place to watch a game, hang out, and catch up. The vibe is lively and energetic. Their music choice was on point too, featuring a lot of rich, modern R&B.All in all, an easy 5 stars that I highly recommend. Not to there isn’t room for improvement. But they’re doing a great job filling Blue Door’s shoes and I wish them a hearty welcome to Uptown!
Damn this place is on another level. I had the Nashville Hottie and it is the best chicken sandwich I've had in the Twin Cities. The vibe is solid. Great music, good service, awesome drinks and just a cool place to hang out. Definitely coming back!PS. they have gluten free and veggie options
Family and I went here Saturday 9/4. Sat outside where it was nice. Ordered lemon pepper wings, 14 spice rub wings, Mac n cheese and Waffle fries. Everything was great temperature and we preferred the lemon pepper wings. Mac n cheese was fire! Waffle fries dipping sauce, too. Anntaya was great and attentive!
Service was amazing and friendly! Food was delicious- best chicken around. We got the tenders with 14 Spices and some dipping sauces.Happy Hour drinks are $8 before 6pm!
Absolutely incredible. Everything down to the fries were a 10. Nicole was our server and gave us awesome recommendations and was a top tier server. We will absolutely be back and be recommending this place to friends and family. Garlic Spicy and dry rub wings were AMAZING. Drinks and tequila options were AMAZING.
