Stopped in on my last day in the city and I wish I found this place sooner! Definitely the best coffee I had while I was in MPLS. I got the tiramisu latte and coffee cake. Incredible. Can’t wait to come back on my next visit.

Just shared morning breakfast with my boyfriend and had a tear-jerkingly beautiful time. Highly recommend. We had their baked French toast (grand portion and stunning-lyndelicious) and he had the quiche (incredible home baked crust with a great goat cheese bite). Their carrot cake matcha reminded me how much I love matcha. Oh my gosh.. such a wonderful spot. Considerably busy yet still able to maintain a good rhythm. Somehow doesn’t get loud despite the volume of customers… Baked goods made in house, incredible service, great interior, close to the river just A VIBE.

I frequently stop here for meetings with clients or between showing condos nearby, as a local Realtor. The food is creative and delicious, and the coffee is always so smooth!

I love the wide array of both classic and seasonal drinks they offer. The recent carrot cake latte may be the best thing I've tasted all summer! Be patient - this is a smaller cafe and it's quite popular, so don't expect your order to be ready in 5 minutes. The inside is beautifully decorated, warm but modern, and they have some merchandise available up front. The staff are very friendly, but always hard at work getting both in-house and to-go orders prepared to everyone's liking. That includes food orders! It can be a bit loud when it's busy. To me, the unique options and ability to order online make the wait worth it. They also offer wine, but so far I've just gone for the coffee. Prices are on par with other shops in the area, and some milk alternatives area available with no extra charge!

My Food was over spiced. My families was good. Service was good. Had to clean up after ourselves. Not enough seating.

Silver Fern is a lovely coffee shop with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and the space has a great ambiance, even if it can be tough to snag a seat since it’s usually busy.
They do a fantastic job with creative seasonal drinks, the State Fair coffee flight was such a fun experience and absolutely delicious. Their standard lattes are solid, but the specialty drinks are where they really shine. I also love that they offer wine, and their bakery case is always tempting, the biscuit is excellent.
A cozy neighborhood spot that manages to feel both lively and relaxed.
