One of my favorite donut shops. Always a ton of different flavors and best of all they are bite size so you can try several different donuts. If you would rather have one big donut they usually have those too.

This place doesn't ever seem to be open. This is the second time weve tried to come. Its 330 on a Saturday per the hours online and on the door you're open but nope all locked up...we came from a ways a way to celebrate a special occasion. Would have been nice to know you randomly close so we didnt waste our time. I'll choose one of the many other options and wont be wasting my time returning.

Small quaint donut shop with a good selection of specialty donuts that are quite delicious. Very basic small shop with limited seating. While I was there a line form that stretched out the door and it appeared that most were there for the donuts. Just one woman working in the entire shop made the wait a long one. One thing to note is that if you are looking for coffee to go with that speciality donut, you may want to get the donut to go. Only coffee offerings are drip and cold press and the cold press cup is nearly $5. Maybe best to look elsewhere for the coffee companion for your donut.

Great donuts, plain and simple. (The donuts are neither plain nor simple)

Sleepy V's is an awesome place to get donuts. I love the flight of mini donuts because it's definitely hard to choose just one flavor. Prices are reasonable and the donuts are amazing. I love places where I can get more than just your "typical" donut flavors. I really like the Sleepy V donut, the orange glaze is bright, refreshing, and sweet. Cotton candy is delicious as well! This will definitely be one of my go-to places for when I want a good donut!

So delicious! And always awesome service. This is a unique donut treat (and the coffee is a winner too)

We used Sleepy V's for our Wedding in October 2019. They did a nice job overall (reasonably priced, simple to order, on time). The only issue was that we ordered a dozen Boxy Brown donuts (our favorite donut and what we planned to eat with the head table) on top of the bulk mini donut order and did not receive them. Despite that, all the guests really enjoyed their dessert and we were happy to support a local NE Minneapolis business.

I've only been here once to meet up with a friend but that visit was enjoyable. I love the rustic look of the place and the little selection of donuts - mini and regular sized alike. I tried a few mini donuts and got a regular sized one to go so I could compare between the donuts. The mini ones were kind of on the dry side - though very cute and presentable in their small form. I could taste the different distinct frosting flavors but the donut themselves were just okay. The regular sized was delicious! Can't remember exactly which one I tried but I remember it being filled. Can't go wrong with those filled donuts! Coffee was decent too albeit on the more bitter side. Willing to try this place again if I'm in the area.

Great little place, doughnuts are delish! And don’t the excuse you are on a diet... they make minis!!! Great over there for some sweets and coffee ( or tea )

It’s a little spendy for mini doughnuts but they’re so good! Cute shop!

Affordable and wide variety of mini donuts to regular full size donuts and a couple filled ones too. Great tasting and I think the best I’ve had from a donut shop so far. All on the bus line in good ole north east Minneapolis. 5/5

Just moved to North Minneapolis and we wanted to explore our nearest food options. My partner gets intense donut cravings, so we had to check out the nearest donut shoppe! Upon walking up you'll notice it's a small place, and attracts many families. There were two families with small kids that entered with us and we almost had to stand outside. However, the line moves quick! The staff is super friendly and we donated to the "canoe fund". There is a bar space available to sit and drink coffee. It was cozy and not many people were seated there on a Saturday morning. On to the donuts! We opted for a dozen of the mini donuts, as a dozen of the regular were a bit too pricey to justify. They had a pack ready with one of each flavor. I started in on the one with a pile of cookie dough in the center. Yum! Even their fruit flavored ones like lemon poppyseed were delicious! The citrus flavor was fresh and less artificial in taste. I would recommend eating these with a coffee. They are dry and not overly sweet making them a perfect pair with a beverage! Trickier street parking, but mostly residential. You may need to walk a block or so.

A magical fairy delivered two dozen tiny donuts to our office today and I’m still drooling over them. I don’t know what kind of voodoo is involved to get a Fruity Pebbles donut to retain its crispy goodness, but they nailed it. 100% seeking out this spot next time I’m in Northeast.

The kids liked the donuts, I'm pretty sure they were day old.
