Food was tasty. My order was not completely accurate but I ate what was served. My friend loved the breakfast sandwich and another raved about his shrimp & grits Benedict.
Everything was amazing, thanks so much! Loved the Brussels, blue cheese potatoes, pork chop, sandwiches and more!
The food was outstanding. The portions were very generous and the presentation was really nice. Too much for us to finish but we tried. Our waiter Carl was great. Very attentive to our requests.
Food was delicious. Service was GREAT!! Only thing I didn't like is how loud it was. Hard to carry on a conversation. We sat up top. Maybe that's why?
We had a server named Tony. She was awesome. We were celebrating our birthdays and at the end of our meal, out came a complementary piece of key lime pie. It was just the topper to a great meal!
Disappointing experience with over cooked lobster that was rubbery, fish & chips that were majority breading. And cod was tender but the accompaniments were very salty to the point of not being able to eat. Only bright side was the perch entree which was very good.
the new parsnip salmon dish is terrible. Bring back the stuffed salmon. It's what all of us were going to Smack Shack for and the server even told us people are upset this amazing dish is gone.
First time there as recommended by a friend. The service was horrible. We were celebrating a birthday and the hostess said they do a free dessert just let the waiter/waitress know. We did and the waiter didn't even suggest a birthday dessert. He was very inattentive to us and we waited forever to get his attention. Food wasn't the warmest and portions were small for the prices. Probably won't be back!!!

Great service, the food was great - my only criticism would be the mignonette for the oysters had zero shallots and I love that bit of texture with my oysters!

Outstanding food and service! It's the best place to go for Jambalaya and Lobster Rolls! Prices are a little higher, but moderate as far as North Loop restaurants go. Great outdoor seating and a perfect place to hook up with friends for the lobster / guacamole with chips!
Food was outstanding. The happy hour food sounded even better. Unfortunately we didn't make it back to try it ?

It was ok.
Not very good dessert. The lobster mac was OK.
I didn't feel good after eating here.
Felt uncomfortable, the manager, he was not very nice.
Someone took our appetizer, and the manager did NOT care.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday, so it wasn't too busy. The service was great, and the food came out quick. We had the shrimp basket (10/10) as a start. Had some drinks while waiting for our mains. The happy hour house margarita was very good! Generous size for the price ($9 during happy hour) and not too sweet. My husband had the Indeed haulin brew & had to have a 2nd because it was so good!
I had the Connecticut style lobster roll, and while the flavor was great, the meat was overcooked and chewy. I upgraded the side to the chowder instead of fries and it was very yummy! If you're not a fry girly, I would suggest upgrading to the soup. The server originally made some suggestions and I wish I would have listened to him on what to order, but other than the pricey chewy lobster, it was a good experience.
