Definitely a place worth visiting. They only serve hard cider, which is great. It's gluten free. There's nothing wrong with sociable cider werks, but there's nothing to make it a place you must go.
They don't have a kitchen, but they have a food truck outside the main entrance.
They sometimes have events, like an outdoor band in the summer.
Absolutely check them out!

Sociable Cider Werks is an absolute delight for anyone who loves creative, flavorful ciders. Their selection is impressive ranging from crisp, refreshing classics to unique, adventurous blends that are surprisingly balanced. Every cider I’ve tried has been high-quality and full of character.
The taproom has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, perfect for hanging out with friends or trying a tasting flight. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, happy to guide you through the options and suggest something that suits your palate.
Whether you’re a cider enthusiast or just looking for a fun spot to enjoy a drink, Sociable Cider Werks delivers an exceptional experience. I keep coming back because it’s consistently great—both the ciders and the atmosphere.

The cider here isn't bad, but it isn't great either. The prices they're charging for it though, you'd think there was liquid gold in it. If you want to spend like $30 on a couple rounds for a couple people, go here. The food truck nearby claims to sell MN street food, yet they do not have the two most popular street food items in the state on their menu, which is weird. Their food is wildly, even laughably overpriced though. If you're upper-middle class or rich and want a nice place to spend an evening where money isn't your concern, this is a great place for you, but if you're middle class or, like me, poor and looking for a fun night out, you absolutely have to avoid this place. Not worth the money whatsoever, if you care about value for your dollar.

Really nice spot! It was a great place to chill for a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon and the THC beverages are so good! Loved the cranberry one. Not a ton of vegetarian options on the food front, so I didn’t try anything

The cider is amazing! I only dock it a Star because the seating is very limited when they’re crowded. I wish they had more indoor seating space for the winter. Gluten free ciders are marked on the menu!

Got a refill on a growler. Great varietal cranberry cider. We are some food from the food truck parked outside and had some of the non-alcohol soda while we ate

Sociable has been one of my favorite places in Minneapolis since well before I could drink alcohol (don't worry, they have NA options). There's always been family friendly events, and plenty of seating to bring all your pals.
A decade later, as an openly queer adult, I still feel incredibly welcome. More importantly, I feel safe, and know the people I bring here will be safe, too. The vibes are friendliness first, but no BS tolerated.
Anyway-- The drinks!? Perfection, chefs kiss. Locally made and full of love!!
They have rotating seasonal flavors, and I love to get some off sale to put aside. When I'm missing summers rhubarb-y zing or falls crispy goodness, I've got my fav Sociables all year ♥️
Bonus: They have AMAZING rocks all around. Strongly recommend grabbing a pint and taking a little stroll to see what you find! You can get another drink when you go back to wash an agate and see how cool it looks 😎 🚀

Staff not as friendly as you'd expect — more like we were a bother. Even though without our crowd of friends, it would have been essentially empty.

I've been visiting this place for over 10 years, but with the move to 12oz cans/portions and the phasing out of pint variety cases in stores is incredibly sad.
Charging more for less is not a good business model. Won't be returning or purchasing again.
