Like others who have left reviews recently - have had a negative experience with the current property manager Renee. Leaving a one star review as I currently would not recommend living here to others. I personally never worried too much about others' complaints about management as I tend to keep to myself and don’t typically require much help from the office. But management has really created a negative atmosphere and ruined our experience. Have lived at the Soo Line for over three years. Things have really gone downhill with Renee as the manager. She has been rude, difficult to work with, and altogether unpleasant. Communication is nonexistent when there are issues, eg the front door and therefore only the intercom was broken for weeks without communication or updates. My washing machine was leaking and our maintenance request took over 40 days to be resolved. My dishwasher recently wasn't working and it took three weeks to have someone repair it. Both times required me following up repeatedly. They have a 24 guarantee to respond to maintenance requests but that has not been true in my experience.

I've lived at Soo Line for nearly 6 years, even previously left a 5 star review because the building and management was incredible at the time. But since then, while Isaak and Charles are absolutely amazing, the most recent manager Renee is extremely rude, condescending, and always talks to you like you're a nuisance, not a resident. I have had many negative experiences chatting with her and requesting her help whether it's regarding my lease, parking, or maintenance. Very sad to say I will be looking for a new place to live once my lease ends solely because of this manager.

We lived here almost 5 years. Location is amazing and it’s in the heart of the city center. The amenities are great and the rooftop pool is great all year around. When there is issue that needs to be taking care of, the office will just ignore the issue and never respond or they say “request closed” on the app they make us use. Residents just destroy the amenities. They wreck the rooftop/pool and skydeck area with parties. The gym has wobbly weight benches and the sanitize wipes are as dry as the desert. Constantly I smell marijuana in the hallways. I just want to feel safe in my own home, but here I honestly don’t. I just feel like the management team really doesn’t care and just want the occupancy to be full. So sad this place was a great place, now it’s just not.

Living at Soo Line has been a joy! I moved in just about 3 months ago and have never stopped being impressed by the beautiful property and the management team! From the beautiful rooftop with incredible views, to the classic decor, to the apartments themselves. It has been a pleasure. The team here puts on fun monthly resident events, is responsive to issues, and is always looking for ways to improve the living experience. The convenience of the location has been unmatched. I am able to walk to work, the store, and anywhere downtown that I want. This allows me to save hundreds a month in travel expenses. Overall very happy with my choice to live at Soo line and I recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Minneapolis! Shout out to Isaac for helping me find a great place to live!

I have been living here for 2 years and I have loved it. We have a 1 bedroom it's perfect for my girlfriend and I, there's so much natural light, kitchen/counter space. We have full laundry and dryer in the bathroom (and my favorite, the giant tub), and so much cabinet and storage space.I love our bedroom and it's walk-in closet. The building is beautiful, skyway accessible, management is incredible and responsive. They even host resident events (which usually include alcohol and snacks)The rooftop is really the icing on the cake. Year round pool and hottub, beautiful outdoor space and a gorgeous rooftop lounge, with new games. It can also be rented out for private events! The only issues I've had have been deliveries (people get very confused driving in downtown) and the parking garage has had many issues in the past with drug use and break-ins (which has had some much needed improvements) and these aren't problems with the building itself, but important to be aware of.

Nice place, roof is divine, attached garage could use some work but they're not directly responsible for the garage in their defense. Isaak's the man, super helpful with all my questions half of which were covered somewhere in the move in documents. ??

Just moved in a little over the week ago, and loving the location and rooftop amenities! Isaak was fantastic to work with, we had a plethora of questions and he happily answered all of them for us, in a timely manner!

It’s a nice place; good amenities, welcoming leasing office, safe. There was an issue at the beginning with my lease but the leasing office were very accommodating

This building is great in terms of amenities and the general staff. Everything is always well taken care of maintenance wise for apartments and the building as a whole. However, recently we have been having some mixed experiences with the property managers as there has been a good degree of recent turnover. Up till now, everyone has been so cordial and helpful in the leasing office, but the current property manager and previous one have been at times very unpleasant to interact with. We felt so much more welcomed by the previous managers, whereas now as residents we feel like an inconvenience when we come to them for help or to correct billing mistakes. Its a shame because we love the building and our unit, but this has changed our view a bit of the Soo Line.

Building has gone downhill since we originally moved in, current management is terrible and extremely rude otherwise the rest of the staff here is pretty cool. (Ghetto area)

The First National Bank-Soo Line Building was built in 1915 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. This is a beautiful Historic Building and a must see. Check it out!

No place to park by the front so cars ALWAYS clog the one-way. Their skyways DONT have access to any other skyway until later in the morning- so inconvenient!

I live right near this apartment building and there is constantly people parked on the tracks where they are not supposed to be. The apartment building does not care. So inconvenient and annoying!

Top floor view is amazing. When I applied for the apartment I had a good experience and management is horrible. Leasing office is reliable. I wouldn't mind leasing another year already

The decor in here is amazing! The pool and upper floor rooftop is nicely decorated and has a lot of space.
