I got the Lasagna and my son got the Penne, marinara and Italian sausage. We loved the food and loved the owner. Super nice guy.
Best Italian food in the skyway. I have been eating Sorrentos since the 90’s. If they don’t have the best lasagna, it’s very, very close. The red sauce is great. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Their home made Italian salad dressing is the best I’ve ever had. I used to come here just for the salad.
Fast service. Friendly workers. I eat Sorrentos any time I’m downtown and they are open. You should too.
Thanks for all the great meals over the years!
I ordered spaghetti and all the cheese was stuck together after I tried to get it out for 20 straight minutes
Great grab and go in the skyway. Not much to look at but holy moly the chicken parm competes. I'll be back to try more of the menu.
Hate that they're no longer at the farmers market, but love love love that they're here for my workday lunch! The options are great, prices are reasonable for the portion sizes and no need to spice up their arrabiata - it's already got a great kick! The only downside is the HIGH downtown tax.
I’ve been coming around here regularly for about a year now. The family that runs this place is charming and friendly. Their chicken parmesan, rosa sauce, and lasagna are great! Hearty and filling, excellent amount of cheese. They have good spaghetti and penne. I HIGHLY recommend their chicken wild rice soup. The owner really does care about the quality of his food and that people are happy with it, newcomers and regulars.
Sorrento Cucina is one of the best Italian restaurants in Minneapolis. The skyway location is humble, however, the food (especially the red sauce) is amazing. The be photographs of the owners family in Italy hanging in the restaurant add a level of authenticity. Please do yourself a favor and stop by.
Are the meatballs all beef and the meat in the lasagna is it all beef I can’t eat pork so yeah was wandering me and the fam wanted to try it looks ridiculously yummy let’s hope for the ingredients are coolest r??\\
I've been going to Sorrento's for I think about ten years at this point and they have my favorite lasagna of any place I've ever been to! I love it so much! It's my favorite place in the skyway and I try to pop by at least twice a week!
The food here is delicious and the people are extremely kind. The price is extremely reasonable to match. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind skyway meal experience and trying to show off to your coworkers downtown.
