This little restaurant was great. It’s located inside the midtown Global market building, along with other food vendors. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Marshall were outstanding. Took care of us really well. We had a lot to eat and recommend just about everything. The pork tips were a bit dry, but their spicy BBQ sauce was on point. Ribs, excellent. Brisket, excellent. We had their million dollar wings and be careful, when they say wings, they give you all the section of wings. They do not scrimp on that so make sure you don’t over order like we did ?! The collard greens were on?point?. The black eyed peas needed something, maybe a touch more salt, but couldn’t put my finger on it. They even brought out their brisket chili for us to taste test. It was delicious. It looks like they have it on special every once in a while so if it’s there the day you go, highly recommend that you try a little bowl. It was good. Just spicy enough and chili flavor came through. Great job guys!

Just tried to order at their counter and they refused to take my order. Said they had too many orders already... LIKE WHAT? That was their only explanation... I have never had a place refuse my order. Today is 2/24 around noon.I have also been other days where they just have a sign they are gone taking a break... I waited 15 20 minutes and no one came back.I hope the owner sees this because I specifically drove to the place to order.

I work here at the Midtown global market. And I’m telling y’all this place has the best brisket I’ve ever had in my life! I mean slap yo mama good lol. The brisket chili is off the chain, the catfish is the bomb, and everything goes really well with every side you can choose. If you’re ever in the Midtown global market, make sure you visit this place. And did I mention they also sell smoked meats by the pound, serve meals to feed entire families and lunch specials! You won’t be disappointed !!!

I ordered curbside and it was very simple and quick. The brisket smoked pork and Ribs were all excellent especially the pork. The Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw were all excellent as well especially the baked beans. I will say the corn bread was not to my taste but otherwise I was blown away and will be returning.

Definitely in the top restaurants for brisket and Mac and cheese in the Twin Cities. Their food is the closest to Texas BBQ that we have found.

Food truck service was awful. We waited for 30+min to get our food, that we never got! I understand they were steady, but other people were getting served there orders (same food items as ours) before us. There needs to be a better system with their food truck. Very disappointing!
