The first time I visited Sovereign Grounds the shop was in a smaller corner of what is now the welcoming space for one of the finest coffee shops in Minneapolis. When I returned for a quick dark roast coffee weeks later Hakan, the owner, remembered my NAME! Friends tell me they’ve had the same experience - being greeted by name every time they stop in.
