The first time I visited Sovereign Grounds the shop was in a smaller corner of what is now the welcoming space for one of the finest coffee shops in Minneapolis. When I returned for a quick dark roast coffee weeks later Hakan, the owner, remembered my NAME! Friends tell me they’ve had the same experience - being greeted by name every time they stop in. This is by far the best local coffee shop I've had the pleasure of frequenting. The service is hands down, incredible. The baristas are friendly, and have wonderful banter. H, the owner, is my favorite person in our neighborhood. The drinks are delectable and delicious. Also, the playroom has huge dinosaurs. I have never had a less than perfect visit to Sovereign Grounds. Would highly recommend!
