Very disappointed in my lunch today. The order was incomplete, missing the side and the drink and the part that did arrive (lamb gyro) was cold and soggy.
The quality of the food is bottom tier. I'm sure what I was given is the most bog-standard crap ingredients to fall off of a Sysco truck. I'd rather eat a gas station sandwich than another gyro from this place.

I’m so happy Deluxe Plaza went with this food vendor and they were able to move in and take over. This restaurant is my daily go to for employee group food and daily lunch. Reasonably priced and amazing service. Each employee like Ahmed greets you with kindness and care while serving great food. I recommend it to everyone.

I ordered the lunch menu. Rice and 2 entrees. I also ordered a samosa for $1. I got a canned soda due to the fountain machine being out of order and my total was $14. Plenty of food for the price and so delicious.

Really affordable, great portions of Indian food. I like getting the tray with 3 compartments. I usually get a large portion of Chicken Biryani. In the 2 smaller compartments I choose Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, or Chicken Kabob. It also includes a medium sized Naan. For the price it’s awesome. Very welcome to the Minneapolis skyway! Keep up the good work and never stop improving.
Be aware, they are not kidding about the "spice" part. The Riva bowl came dressed in fiery sauce and chunks of hot peppers. Solid, tasty food - but the real star is the value - it's tough to get out of any downtown restaurant with a bill less than 20-30 dollars: the Riva bowl was a generous serving of rice, breaded fried chicken, and vegetables - I added two giant samosas, the whole thing coming in just over 11 dollars before tip. Great to have a new option in this neck of the downtown skyway, and worth a trip.

I have been working downtown for a few years now, and you will not find a better bang for your buck than Spice Shack. Not only will you get a good meal for less than $10, you will also have a fair variety of Indian classics such as Tandoori, Butter Chicken, Tika, Biryani, and more.
If Indian isn't your style, try their other classics like chicken sandwiches or hot dogs. No matter who you are, Spice Shack has something for you.
The service is incredible. Servers greet you with a smile, and managers will ask how the food is as you eat. Same answer every time, "Still delicious!"
Still skeptical? Try it for yourself! And for skeptics who think I am affiliated with Spice Shack, you are wrong. They are just a great lunch spot that I need to stay serving for years to come!
