We stopped here for a coffee when we got a breakfast sandwich from the place next door. My wife and I both really loved our coffees. She had a regular dark roast, but I had the honey lavender coffee drink with half the sweetness, and it was perfect. We both commented that is it was closer to us, we would go more often. It seems like a nice space for working, if you are able.

My favorite coffee place in the twin cities so far. Excellent service and delicious latte. Highly recommend the Carmella hot or iced. Bought their fresh roasted whole beans as well

It's such a cute place! I had the blueberry muffin, and it was delicious. I highly recommend it! Someone else in my group got the seasonal lemon drop latte. I was skeptical but it was amazing 👏 🤩

Our whole family enjoyed relaxing at Spyhouse. My wife and I both enjoyed a Blackberry Ginger Beer Spritzer beverage that was so good that I went and got another one before leaving.

The whole family had plenty of room to enjoy our food, drink and company. The baristas were very personable and friendly.

This Sunday morning, I ordered two coffees and I planned to pay with cash since I didn’t have my card on me, but when I got to the register and ordered, they told me they didn’t take cash. I fumbled a little bit because I felt insanely awkward, and I was ready to just go without any coffee, but one of the guys working saw me and went ‘it’s alright, there are no signs, I’ll cover it.’ I wasn’t expecting him to say anything or do anything, but his kindness really made my day.
The coffee was top tier and the atmosphere was made immensely better because of the workers there.

I went to Spyhouse to try out a different place. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk. Everything seemed to be good and all until I took a couple of sips and noticed that it was made with whole milk and tasted burnt. I'm lactose intolerant, and this did not sit well with me. If you want to pay $6.80 for coffee from subpar baristas who don't put effort into expensive drinks, then come here. The only thing good about this place is the environment

Spyhouse used to be our favorite coffee shop and we still love their products but have become disappointed with our experience. Tonight my husband and I stopped in just before close to grab a bag of beans and a couple of drinks before heading to the park with our toddler. We were only able to purchase beans because they couldn’t serve us any espresso beverages since they had already closed the espresso bar even though the cafe was not closed yet. In addition, I was startled to find that the same beans I can buy at local grocery stores cost $6 MORE when purchased directly from Spyhouse. Having previously worked at coffee shops, I understand the desire to get things cleaned up in anticipation of closing but it is poor service to loyal customers to decline serving before close. In addition, the markup on coffee being purchased directly from the source makes it certain I will never purchase beans in store again.
