A Starbucks location providing coffee as you would expect yet with service that needs a bit of upgrading.
Ordered a couple of coffee drinks and a few pastries. Taste is what you expect from any Starbucks. Coffee on point.
However I was quite surprised at the poor level of service received and observed from the Starbucks. In one case I observed a patron recommending that the incorrect drink order (pink refresher drink) be donated to a couple of children standing nearby waiting their order. The Starbucks employee told her they couldn't donate the incorrect drink proceeded to pour out the drink into the sink to much of the dismay of the kids watching.
Not really in the area to sit enjoy your drink. This location is meant strictly for pickup.
Not sure what harm could have been done by obliging the customer's request to donate to drink to the next patron. But it definitely left me a lasting impression.

This coffee shop is right in the middle of downtown, and a good thing since my hotel and business were close by and it was very cold outside. So this worked for both morning and afternoon coffee.

The staff were nice, but they put too much ice in my wife’s drink, it was empty before we got to the car, I opted to return, and I paid a second time to get another drink, this time I asked for less ice. They were all delicious.

Inside the Marquette hotel, it is very busy, so there is a looooooooong wait even though you used the app to order ahead. I used the app to order 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. The food was ready rather rapidly, and then we waited 13 minutes as we watched people that had ordered specialty coffees leave before us. When we questioned the batista she had a major attitude and responded "you have to be patient". 13 minutes for 2 cups of regular coffee that was already brewed. Skip this joint and go one block to the one in target where they have no attitude. This place is closed on Sundays.
