Ordered food from them. I received a call from the double tree saying that they were the actual kitchen servicing the delivery. They also didn't have any of the items I ordered. They indicated I would need to cancel the order on my end. Stay'd provides no way to cancel an order online and doesn't answer the phone. As of now I paid for food that won't be coming.

My friends and I ordered food to be delivered from this non-existing restaurant. The food came, missing several items. The GrubHub driver told us we'd have to reach out to the "restaurant" for a refund. Nothing was said at the time of the order, that items weren't available. No one called to let us know they were out of what we wanted and did we want to make any substitutions? Like a normal restaurant would do. There should have been no need for a refund in the first place. But then, she tried to figure out how to contact the restaurant for a refund. Good luck with that. We discovered it's not even a restaurant: it's somehow connected to the Doubletree Hotel. Someone should inform the Doubletree Hotel. Because when she called the "restaurant" phone number, there was no option to leave a message, and no one answered. But she hit "1" during the outgoing message and was connected to... the Doubletree Hotel. The person who answered was clueless and denied all involvement in this sleazy scheme called "Stay'd". So, what are we to think? It was incorporated in Minnesota in January of 2023. So it does exist as a legal entity. So do tax havens. I suspect this is a scheme to unload excess restaurant food on an unsuspecting public, and they deliberately short orders knowing that most people are going to give up looking for a refund after experiencing the significant hurdles to communicating with this "restaurant". The food that we did get was nondescript and edible. That's the best I can say about it. Avoid this thing at all costs, if you value your sanity and your palate.

Came for a conference in February and stayed at the hotel. At check-in, the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and made us feel like her face would break if she ever tried to smile. All I can say is stay away from this place in the winter unless you are a lizard and love hot temperatures. The rooms were literally 85 degrees and there is a sign next to the thermostat saying that in the wintertime the cooling is turned off so the only way to cool the rooms is to turn the heat/cooling unit’s power OFF and open a window. Well, the windows only open a total of 3 inches (the width of a cell phone max) and allows no breeze to come in. I ended up turning on the bathroom fan to try and pull some kind of air movement. You should not have to keep a wet washcloth next to the bed to wipe your body down to get some kind of evaporative cooling in the middle of winter when it’s 18 degrees outside, but 85 in the room at night. I rarely write a bad review for a hotel, but this was just one I need to warn others about. All of the other people from the conference who stayed there had the same stories about the temperatures of their rooms. So bad.

Great hotel staff, amazing services. Lillian and James are hoots, with wonderful customer service. My son ordered 7 movies not paying attention that the movie wasn’t free. When I went to Lillian to double check everything for me. She also had some of the movies adjusted off for me. James was very communicative on all the questions I asked both of your staff members have excellent customer service.

Zero stars if I could. Ordered for takeout, when I showed up they said they didn't have my order. When I showed them my order they said they can't make the food I ordered because they don't have those items at the restaurant. I tried the fall squash lasagna, Heritage Grains Bowl, Roasted Vegetable Medley, and Garlic \\u0026 Gold Potato Mash. They couldn't cancel my order at the restaurant since they didn't have it, and they didn't answer the phone to cancel, I tried calling 3 times. Now I have to wait for the charge to post to my credit card and dispute the charge. Here's a picture of my dog that is sad we don't have dinner tonight.

Disappointed. Reserved and paid for a suite with 2 queen beds 4 months before our visit. When we arrived we were given 2 single rooms separated by a 5 minute walk. Not even close to each other! If we had wanted separated rooms on separated floors we would have ordered such. It was a take it or leave it. Disappointing. You will find there is no complimentary coffee here. No keurig in rooms. Nothing worked in my room because nothing was plugged in. On the positive side, we had a bed to sleep in. Motel 6 is a better stay than this hotel. Pick someplace else.

Hotel was recommended by the bridal party of the wedding we were attending. Front desk staff was excellent. The rooms are nice and big and very clean. Hotel parking is situated so it is all close to the front door. Would stay here again.

The West End is a great location for me when visiting Minneapolis. The convenient access to Highways and the many restaurants and bars nearby is great. The Doubletree has been there for over 40 years but is nicely updated. The pool/hot tub area is large and very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with good service and reasonably priced. Many other hotel choices in this area, but the Doubletree is a great choice.

We were in a group of 8 of a business trip. The main customer the was travelling with us stayed in a room where at 07H00 am started a big noise caused by a roof maintenance. I went to the frontdesk and somebody told me that it was normal and nothing could be done. I also bought some packages at Amazon.com and 2 of them were lost at the hotel. I tried to solve this problem many times with the hotel and also directly with Amazon.com. There is nothing that I could do, so I lost USD 150, 00. The hotel usually receives packages, including these mine, and there isn't a control of who receives, when, how and when you take them you dont have do sign nothing and not even show your ID. So, probably someonelse took it and I lost everything.

I checked into doubletree park place today July 12, 2022 at 3:00pm CST. Room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Front desk could care less. No apology. I am here for 4 days and my company has booked an event here for two days. I was given another room on a floor I did not want. This room smells also. I currently have the door propped open in futile attempt to air it out. Nothing was offered me for the disruption, hauling all my luggage back down to the front desk, and the experience of 4 long days in this property in a room am unhappy in. No offer of breakfast. Or points. Or even a sympathetic apology.

This was AMAZING! I got the half chicken and even thru DoorDash the chicken was hot, crispy, juicy and sooo tender! The mashed potatoes and roasted veggies were also amazing. I’m he corn wasn’t amazing, but it was good. Still my new go-to for gluten friendly chicken.

I was here for work, otherwise I would have picked a different hotel for sure. Very disappointed because DoubleTree hotels are usually ok-to-good. The lobby and first floor smells like chlorine because the indoor pool is in an atrium right next to the elevators. The first room I got had a malfunctioning air conditioner (and it is humid). I called down to the front desk and they said they'd send someone. 20 minutes later, nothing. So I call down again, and they say they're sending someone. 10 minutes later someone comes up. He says the AC is broken but that all the AC units don't work well because the hotel is old. He says he'll get me in another room. He disappears for about 5-10 minutes and comes back to take me to a different room. The second room had an AC unit that worked but wasn't that effective. However, as I unpacked, and got ready to take a shower, I noticed there was no shampoo provided, just conditioner and lotion. So I call down to the front desk and they say I can come get some shampoo. So I go down and get the shampoo. As I'm using the restroom, I notice long blonde hairs in the sink and the bathroom floor (I have short black hair). Eww. Then as I'm settling in the main room, I go to throw away some paper and notice that the trash can hasn't been emptied. At this point, if it was up to me, I would've left and gone to a different hotel. They clearly had not cleaned the room properly (they had changed the sheets though, which is the only reason why I stayed in that room) and they do not update, upgrade, or maintain the property in a way that they should.
