The most consistent and delicious restaurant and bakery we’ve ever been to. So sad!!! 😞
Ordered a bacon, scrambled egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was sort of mealy rather than flaky.
Also tried the wheatberry toast. I got it to go, and it came with a tiny pat of butter and a bit of jam. It tasted alright, but was dry because I tried to stretch the condiments over both slices of bread.
The matcha comes cloyingly sweet, but one of the servers remade it and was very friendly about it.
Im not sure who comes here and drops $14 on one of the worst breakfast sandwhiches I ever had. The service was fine, the prices are ridiculous for the quality of food. I'd rather walk across the street and get a breakfast sandwich from Brueggers Bagal. Real let down.
Their breakfast sandwich (I generally go for scrambled eggs and Swiss with bacon on a biscuit) may be the height of the art form, but the raspberry scone and The amazing variety of other pastries will keep you coming back
The person who took our order was patient and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The person who brought out our order was friendly and energetic.
I thought the pizza night would be special. It was mid. The staff were very very nice. The pizza was oily as hell and it took a while to get out to the table. Still respect the place. I wanted to add some hot honey but was told no. Not sure why, since they had some on their 'by the slice' but hey. I don't work there so I don't know how it goes. Overall, besides no air and no music playing, the place was nice. Check it out
This is definitely a favorite cafe/diner in Tangletown! Our whole family loves the food. We get scones and sourdough bread to go. When we sit down, we often get the pancakes and biscuits and gravy. What is most delightful is their Chicken Caesar salad! Yum! To top it off, the coffee is the best. Staff is always willing to help, so it makes one want to return again and again.
Was able to sneak in Sunday without a wait. There is usually a line, lots of energy in the room and delicious bakery items. Always fresh bread, soups, and hot drinks. However, I always stop in for the biscuit sandwich. The size, flavor and variety of toppings is perfect for brunch. The chai is just sweet and spicy enough. at times overly spicy. I still enough sipping. The room is usually noisy, the cars zoom by on Nicollet Ave and the owner usually working and serving right along with the staff. The bakery is delightful. So many unique flavors and mixtures of textures. From croissants, to cardamom twists, graham crackers, cookies and more. An array of figurines for children to play with while they wait. My mother enjoys their weekly pizza night. I haven't tried the french toast yet, the guest me ordered, and the strawberries looked delicious. Soups and sandwiches; the menu has great variety and something for everyone.
A true South Minneapolis community haven.

Good neighborhood bistro. Fresh food but my fried chicken sandwich was a little over done. Lattes are good here.

Pretty decent place. Bread and cinnamon rolls were really good. Coffees were just okay. I’d go back for the treats for sure! I’d like to try one of their biscuit sandwiches.
