The udon was warming, but not too spicy, and it was delicious. It's priced very nicely, about 10 dollars for a bowl of Udon and Soup. The service was absolutely fantastic, especially since they were in the middle of the lunch rush. Absolutely worth your time and money.

This is the closest to authentic Japanese I’ve had outside of Japan. Right down to the noren hanging over the entryway to the kitchen. The food is great and very reasonably priced in keeping with Japanese sushi and noodle bowls. I love their curry udon bowl and their lunch special.

Sushi Takatsu is my go-to spot in the downtown Minneapolis skyway — and it has been for a long time! The quality of the food is always consistent and reliable. I usually order the sushi bowl with extra salmon, which is always fresh and satisfying. I’ve also tried their udon, donburi, and sushi combo — all of which are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, tasty, and dependable meal in the skyway

This place is in the skyways in Baker Center. There are only a couple of stools to sit on so this is more of a take out place. Ordering is quick and easy and the staff help you pick if you’re undecided. The rolls come out fast but fresh. Everything I’ve had there is absolutely delicious. And the price is very affordable compared to some sit down restaurants in the downtown area.

Superb sushi. Flavor texture (Love the crunch) spiciness all balanced and delicious. Best ever. Miso soup was comforting. Thin bits of seaweed...not strong flavored. All from a novice Minnesotan palette. Pricing affordable.
