Wow, that’s some seriously good chicken. Friendly service, great atmosphere and music, two walls of football games on a Saturday night. Some of the best food I’ve had out in Minneapolis.

Food was incredible! We got the Rush Hour 4 and Basil Chicken - both to die for. The chicken is perfectly cooked and has the best panko breading on the outside. We also had the spicy margarita, mule, old fashioned, and a couple grinch shots. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The service was outstanding and the owner, Marques, was incredibly warm and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and the experience they provide at their restaurant.

Attention world - I highly recommend this place above all other chicken spots I have been to in the entire country. I consider tenders to be one of my main food groups and I am always trying to find the next best thing. Well, today I did. I am completely blown away at the quality and the crunch of the chicken I had for lunch today, and it only gets better. Their rice (both white and fried rice) are absolutely to die for. The owner, Quis, is one of the most genuine and down to earth dudes I have met in a very long time. I am going to be sharing this place with every person I know for a long time to come. The only down side is..... I had it for lunch, so I probably can't have it again for dinner..... Can I?

Congrats on such an amazing restaurant, I am counting the days until I can make it back in.

Sports bar with chicken tender dishes. Interesting international flavor options. The signature is a Japanese take but I also saw a teriyaki option and I heard they will be getting chicken and waffles soon.

The food is great, the vibes are great! Check out the menu, the Asian influence added to things like tendies and wings is fantastic!

Been walking by for months and finally looked at the menu online, it’s way more than chicken tendies and I’m so so happy the signage outside the joint was right, it’s Asian fusion!! It’s done so well. We had the rush hour 4 and the chicken teriyaki subbed out the white rice with Tokyo fried rice. SOOOOOO FRICKEN GOOD OMG
The owner is fantastic, really personable and a great host. Loved that they are doing a Chix after dark late night DJ thing, it seems like a fantastic fit for the space.

Definitely going back!!!

We went in August not too long after they opened. Had been driving by a few times and was excited for a chicken place to open.

The outside of the restaurant is a little deceiving. You would think it’s a focused chicken place but upon entering, it’s a bar/restaurant setting. We were sat at the bar to order and the menu is actually fushion. It was just the bartender taking all orders and even though there wasn’t a lot of people (a handful of people at the bar and tables were empty), service was slow (maybe no wait staff hired yet?).

Ordered food to go. Pretty expensive, but the workers were raving about how good the food is so we wanted to support the business and maybe this would be our new favorite chicken tender place.

While we waited, we checked out what other people ordered and it seemed ok but nothing special.

Food: they didn’t give us any dipping sauce for the chicken tenders or fries. I guess you have to specifically ask for dipping sauce and ketchup. The fries were good. The chicken was not seasoned at all. No salt or pepper. We were surprised and ate the breading and meat separately to see if there was any seasoning. Nope, the meat and breading were both tasteless, really bland. At least the chicken was tender??

The tacos weren’t bad but we’ve had better flavor elsewhere. Fried chicken wings is also just your everyday chicken, nothing special.

Since they had just opened, we figured they were still figuring things out so maybe we will stop in sometime in the future (drive by all the time) to give them a second chance. Maybe.

It’s an interesting menu and spacious space. Just disappointed that out of everything, the fries were the best and chicken was bland.

I came here with my kids for lunch and it was great! There was plenty of parking in their parking lot. It was very clean and decorated super cute for the holidays. The owner was very helpful finding us a comfortable table since we had a baby with us. My daughter had the TLC yum wings and I had the Rush Hour 4. We both loved them!

Once you sink your teeth into their crispy, juicy chicken tenders, you're hooked. The breading is seriously crispy, and the chicken is so tender and flavorful, it’ll melt in your mouth. And don't even get me started on their Yum Yum sauce – it’s the perfect sweet and tangy sidekick to the chicken. But the good stuff doesn’t stop there. Their fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and super flavorful. The onion rings are another winner, with a crunchy batter and perfectly cooked onion. Tender Loving Chix has a fun, laid-back vibe, making it the perfect spot for a chill meal with friends or family. So, if you’re craving some seriously good chicken, head on over to Tender Loving Chix and treat yourself. You won’t regret it!

Tried it twice. First time got the meal called rush hour 4 which comes with tenders and rice. The chicken was decent but it wasn’t exactly hot out of the fryer either. The rice was barely warm itself so that wasn’t a great first impression. Tried it again recently and got the chicken sandwich. The bun was sort of dry and sauce was really watery and didn’t have much flavor. Fries were ok. It’s not terribly expensive but for the same price there are really good contenders out there. I know the spots new so I’m only leaving my honest review because things can always change and improve. I’ll try again in a few months.

All I have to say is if you have not had it go get it. First service is amazing. Like i don’t think there is better service in Minnesota. There were only like 3 people working in a packed restaurant on Tyson fight night. And I felt like we were the only ones being served the service was so good.

This was my first time having basil chicken but it was divine. I had it with the yum yum sauce. I say that meal was a 9/10 which is very high. I will be going back for second impression.

The wing were also really good I rate those at 6.9/10

Also the drink which I had no high expectations going into it was AMAZING I don’t remember the name of it but it was the only mock-tail beverage on the menu. I rate it 9.5/10

Do I suggest you go here? Yes I do.
