Sadly, I won't be able to try this place. They closed early on my one-time visiting.
Above and beyond service and food was delicious! Great atmosphere! Highly recommend for a black-anese fix!
I would recommend this place.
Unique flavors! Great service. Can taste the intention and purpose!
Great music. I got the rush hour 4
I went at a pretty chill time of the day. Service was fast, restaurant was clean, waitress attentive, and food was great.
What a great place! Open and airy vibe with vibrant colors. Chicken is delicious and moist on the inside, very crispy breading on the outside. Fries are amazing. Yum Yum sauce is delicious.
Basil Chicken w/ fried Egg, Rush Hour 4 and Soy Garlic wings were all EXCELLENT!!
Who doesn’t love flavorful fried chicken wings.. among other dishes. Accompanied by 90s early 2000 RnB! The service was fast and knowledgeable. Our server was kind and helpful choosing dishes we’d be into. Yum yum sauce 10/10 Wings 10/10 Definitely a fun spot. A great addition to Uptown.
Bartenders need more training!
Wished we lived closer, instantly in love. The habanero wings were actually spicy 🥵 and we loved them! Just a nice chill place to grab some good food and a drink for a reasonable price (it was $40 plus for each of us because we ate and drank A LOT, but prices here are competitive and drinks are super affordable for Minneapolis). Service was great, will be back.
First experience IN US Bank Stadium & oh my LAWD ts is delicious. Crispy chicken tendies, extra tender, dipped in the savory yum yum sauce (better than Benihanas), with flavorful perfectly cooked rice. 100/10. If you haven’t tried their food… you’re missing out.

Amazing!!!! My husband and I hosted our 10 year old son’s birthday party (over 25 kids) in their private back room! Our host and event organizer Mikayla was awesome. From the planning of the perfect menu for kids, to picking perfect timing to deliver the amazing hot food! We went with tendees, wings, rice (yum yum) and fries, nothing was left the kids loved everything! It was just amazing. Now…… our personal waitress Taylor was everything these kids needed! Her energy was EPIC as promised by the event organizer! Taylor helped turn Tender Lovin Chix into a the Doub Club! Overall this place is everything we needed and MORE. Customer service on point all the time we never fell short of anything we needed. Shout out the owner Marquis for making sure we had what we needed!
Thanks TLC
I've had the Rush Hour 4 meal once before this past winter and it was amazing. Today, I had the same thing with a side of fries and was very disappointed to find that none of my food was seasoned. Not the rice (greasy), not the chicken, not the yum yum sauce- which was literally watered down-, and not even the fries. Salt, pepper, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce would have been appreciated. This makes me sad because the quality of the food matters the most in restaurants. It's the main thing that keeps bringing people back. I hope they don't end up being like other new restaurants that sacrifice flavor and quality of the food just to save a few meager dollars. In my experience, that usually indicates the beginning of a very quick and ugly end. Good luck to them and I hope they can find a way to reinvigorate their passion for making truly flavorful, undeniably satisfying food sooner rather than later.
Food was absolutely amazing. As a Chicagoan, I’m very picky when it comes to any kind of cuisine. We had the rush hour, which was fried rice with 2 chicken tenders. The rice tasted like heaven and the chicken tenders were huge and fried perfectly. We also had the chicken basil bowl - it’s not just a simple chicken and rice bowl. The seasoning on the chicken was divine and honestly didn’t need any additional sauce. We will 100% be back for more!!
The food truck is great so I needed to check out the restaurant with the expanded menu. I ordered the Rush Hour 4, Chicken and Waffles, and chicken pot stickers. Rush Hour 4 always hits with amazing fried rice, huge and crispy chicken tenders, and yum yum sauce. The chicken and waffles dish was unique because I had teriyaki chicken wings with it. Teriyaki sauce and maple syrup is an odd pairing that works for me. The waffle was good, soft and fluffy. Pot stickers were good too. Friendly service, free parking in the back, and plenty of TV screens all add to the experience at Tender Lovin Chix! I need to work my way through the rest of the menu.
I watched an ad on TikTok of another foodie and I was impressed and decided I had to try this place for myself. I’m so glad I did. I believe the hype. It was wonderful from the moment I stepped in and the lovely lady behind the bar told us to sit anywhere to the moment she bought out the appetizers drinks and main entrées. The place was well lit beautiful for photos and so easy-going with amazing food. I truly enjoyed my experience and I will be back.
