Despite being extremely busy and having a multitude of orders the chefs gave us an extra serving of noodles for no charge due to a short wait(20 minutes). The spicy miso with char chu pork added as an extra was an excellent choice. It was flavorful and umami with the pork being the cherry on top after they torch roasted it. I would definitely travel back to try the rest of the menu.

Self-order ramen spot with a few extra menu options. The ramen itself was solid and satisfying—my Shoyu bowl really hit the spot on a chilly day. The pork had a nice grilled flavor with a touch of sweetness, and while I found myself wishing I’d added corn, I didn’t think of it until I was already halfway through.
Service was friendly and helpful, and although the seating area is small and the shop definitely shows its age, our group of five was comfortable and everyone left happy. Overall, a cozy place for a warm, tasty bowl of ramen. Prices were reasonable, about $15/bowl for a healthy sized serving.

Their ramen is delicious! The restaurant is cozy and everyone that works here is very friendly. My only complaint — if you order online, they add a hidden fee surcharge to that order. This hasn’t been legal in Minnesota since the beginning of the year. I would advise that Tenka either stop charging this fee, or clearly include it in their prices online. Thank you!

It's an unassuming little place in uptown that you could walk right by. They don't have a huge menu, but when you do a few things really well, you don't need to. I got the pork belly ramen and the gyoza, and it was amazing! There was a ton of food. The meat was tender and flavorful. The servers were super nice, too!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities! If you're craving authentic ramen, look no further. The flavors here are incredible, and each bowl is crafted with care. My kids love this place. We always have leftovers for later.P
What sets this place apart is the dedication of the staff. Even amidst the challenges in Uptown, they continue to provide amazing service and quality food.
Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this is the place to be. Don’t miss out on their delicious and satisfying ramen! You won’t regret it!

We stopping in for dinner on a Friday evening around 6pm and there were a few other people eating. You order using machines and they bring the food to you. The people working were very nice and quick to smile.
You can see directly into the kitchen so it was fun watching them while we waited for our gyoza and ramen.
The gyoza was really tasty, and both ramens were satisfying, but nothing I'd crave to come back for. We had the Tonkotsu and Spicy Miso. I read that the Tonkotsu is better with added spice, and I could def see that.
