Had a great mother's day here with family. The staff were friendly and accommodating, putting up with multiple special requests, and handling them with excellent customer service. Everyone in the restaurant was enjoying themselves. Would definitely recommend 👌

Food here is amazing. I have only been since they made changes to their service style and i have to admit it felt a bit clunky - a few guests were confused about their order at the counter and seating system but able to figure things out rather quickly. The food was awesome. I enjoyed a cinnamon roll as well as some hash-browns with biscuits and gravy - the biscuits and gravy were unique and delicious. We also enjoyed a lavender latte which the staff allowed us to take in a to-go cup when we finished eating!

Amazing food!! What a gem of a place, great staff and great atmosphere! Extremely vegetarian friendly and a lot of choices too. I had the portobello melt - O.M.G.!!! Can't wait to try the dill pickle grilled cheese sandwich, and then the breakfast burrito, and then......so many choices! You cannot go wrong going to The Buttered Tin. Yum!!

Took my sister here for a birthday brunch. The food was amazing! I had the breakfast burrito and she had the biscuits and gravy, both were delicious. We both had cinnamon rolls and those were out of this world! Highly recommend!

Love this place. It's in my regular rotation. Great cinnamon rolls, great biscuits, great variety in the menu. Recently had their hash, and I don't know that I'll ever be able to order anything else. Absolute gold standard of a dish.

Found the St. Paul location on Google Maps a year or two ago and had wanted to visit.
We had an occasion to be in NE Mpls this morning and remembered they had a location up there, too.
We got there about 10am on a Saturday. There was a short line to wait and order but the crew work very well together to keep it all moving.
I had the Half portion BIG Ol' Bennie and hubby had the Grain Belt Breakfast. We each had black coffee. The cashier filled our coffee cups and after finding our table (hostess assigned when we walked in & were waiting in line), we drank some coffee and just enjoyed the atmosphere.

Our food came out in about 15 minutes and both meals were delicious!
We would definitely come back again.
I didn't get the name of the hostess, but the cashier was Katie (K?) and she was great as well.

Me and my daughter were just there this morning! We got the banana foster french toast and it was absolutely amazing! As is the fresh squeezed orange juice! Everyone was so nice and we had such a wonderful experience I would definitely stop by again!

Also I am SO Sorry in the haste of getting my toddler out and to the play place, I completely forgot to leave a tip and I feel terrible !!!!!! I promise we do not normally do that 💕

Was told this is where the best pumpkin pie in town was at! Was very excited and the entire family was disappointed as the pumpkin crust couldn’t have been anymore raw and doughy tasting. Kind of ruined the evening experience of our families Thanksgiving :/

We visited Minneapolis for three days, and The Buttered Tin had the best food we tried during our trip. The food was deliciou, the staff were lovely, and the place was clean, and the prices were reasonable except for the $5 for black coffe.
