The Copper Hen Cakery & Kitchen

We had reservations and still had to wait to be seated. We also had a very long wait to get our food such that we had to hurry up to eat to make it to the show that we had tickets for- even though we had allowed 90 minutes and the theater was just around the corner. The pancake and bacon was a hit, the avocado toast gorgeous and tasty, the savory crepe was dry and lacking flavor.

I've been here several times for dinner and have always had a great experience. My last visit for brunch was a little off par. For example, we asked for a cinnamon roll with our meals, but it came out before and we asked for a chocolate milk when our food arrived and received a hot chocolate just before we left. It felt like our server may have been overloaded or off their rhythm. I'll be returning for dinner, but brunch didn't impress.

We hosted our reception (around 30 guests) at the Copper Hen. Working with Marisa was fun! Her communication was clear and helpful in planning our brunch get together. We live out of state and I couldn't be more grateful for the time and detail that was given to help feel like we could just relax and enjoy. Loved the food - many guests mentioned they now want to go back for dinner/another brunch. Very happy with the space, the pricing, and the food! Would recommend.

Food was very good. Service was good. Finding parking close can be a challenge but if you are able to walk, you will be fine.

Bread pudding French toast was very dense, almost dry. Potatoes were over seasoned. Creamed spinach and kale was amazing!!!

Great date nite menu and value ... very bistro feeling inside. Cupcakes were amazing - makes we want to order a whole cake.

Great food and service! The omelettes, chicken sandwich, and short rib were amazing! The drinks also were good. Definitely would come back

We made a reservation online which was helpful. We started with the brioche cinnamon roll which we all enjoyed. My husband had the biscuts & gravy which he found to be a bit bland. He also expected that his eggs would be friend hard since the menu states friend eggs. I shared the short rib crillo and thought the meat was salty and the rice quite bland. Our server was kind and attentive. Overall, for the price we paid I would not return.

Amazing first experience! The service was great - we got our food before our cocktails! The food was phenomenal. We cannot wait to come back!

The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the interior and decor offered a pleasant ambiance. The food was disappointing - I paid $42 for a very thin, overcooked piece of swordfish with a side salad that had some odd glob of whipped mayo on it; my partner ordered the mac and cheese, which had a really thick, gooey layer of what seemed like mediocre cheddar over the top. Overall, while the ambiance and staff were great, the food was definitely not worth it.

The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was very thin. My friend ordered the quiche of the day and when he received it it was not the flavor the server told us. We mentioned it to the server and he checked with the kitchen. When he came back he said there was a miscommunication with the quiche changing but did not offer to correct it or get my friend something else. The fingerling potatoes seem to have been day old and were not even edible. The server did not ‘read the table' and did not even apologize for the wrong food he said they had.

Had a great time eating Brunch on Friday! The service was fantastic and the bagel & lox was delicious, also well presented!! Definitely will be going back!

We had an absolutely wonderful brunch on Sunday. The Farmer's Breakfast was spectacular! The Copper Hen is our "go to place to eat." Thank you so much!!!
