Had a great night out with some girlfriends here for a belated holiday dinner. If you want to feel festive, I highly recommend coming here during December/January because the over-the-top Christmas decor can't be beat. We ordered mocktails, pretzel bites (amazing as they are deep fried), a shrimp entree, fish & chips entree, and the chicken sandwich. We also shared the creme brûlée for dessert. All of it was 10/10.

In addition to great food, we were SO charmed by our lovely server, Rebecca! She was super sweet, funny, and had some great recs for us as first-timers. We will absolutely be back soon, and have possibly started a new holiday tradition as well. :)

Went there on the Winter Solstice. Very festive and busy. We didn’t have reservations and it was very busy, but the staff worked hard to get us a table quickly.

Great atmosphere with the Christmas themed pop up. Food was even better. We loved everything about it and would go back again to try everything else on the menu!

WOAH. Had a christmas dinner here and it was just delightful. Food was incredible, our server (Rebecca!) was SO kind and SO funny and just a fantastic person—my sister was so enamored with her she asked for a hug at the end. I think we met an elf tonight. I’ve never had so much fun at a restaurant, Rebecca you’re the best

Fun holiday experience. Get the crab stuffed walleye and wings

Update:
Second time back was not great. Server was as unpleasant and seemed annoyed when I pointed out that my wine glass was chipped.

My boyfriend and I went to Creekside when I saw their Christmas cheer on tik tok and Instagram. The Christmas decor was phenomenal, some of the best in the twin cities this season.

We shared the walleye fish fry and short ribs. It came with a salad and soup, the broccoli cheddar soup was my favorite. We had sides of twice baked potato which was incredibly creamy and hashbrowns which were nice and crispy.

The drinks were classics and delicious, perfectly made. We’d definitely go back and enjoy more from their menu.

Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and had great jokes. She clearly loves working there and enjoys the establishment.

Was super excited to try Creekside at Christmastime and wasn't disappointed by the over-the-top vintage decor, but the experience was definitely lacking in other areas. We had a 7:45 reservation, but were not seated until 8:20 and were ignored by the hostess after checking in while other parties were offered drinks before being seated. We had already looked at the menu so ordered right away once we were sat, but were disappointed to find out that they were out of popovers for the night as well as their soup of the day (not a huge deal - these things happen). The prices in comparison to the food was the major downfall, $15 for a mediocre, small cup of french onion soup was too steep. The protein was forgotten on my salad and was brought out separately 10 minutes later (clearly forgotten) and other's food was just OK. One visit was enough for us.

What a magical experience! The decor in the restaurant for the Holidays was spectacular! Added so much to the ambiance and our outing!
The food was next level! We ordered the Ribeye and the Prime Rib. Both were cooked to perfection (not often the case elsewhere!) and love that there were 2 sides that were included and not a la carte!
The Popovers... Oh My Word! Just amazing!
The service was also just phenomenal! From walking in the door - the front staff were welcoming and lovely! And our Server was fantastic! So happy to have found this gem and we will be back!

The Creekside is our favorite neighborhood bar and restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the drinks and food are always delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and fun. My favorite items on the menu are the popovers, relish tray, prime rib (on a Friday or Saturday), and the dirty martini. They also have a great happy hour!
