The Deco Catering

We booked the Deco for our intimate wedding this fall and the food was absolutely fabulous. I am still dreaming about the roasted squash. Our plated experience was wonderful; staff was efficient in passing out food and clearing plates. Food was hot and seasoned well. So many of our guests had to gush about the Sundried Tomato Bruschetta appetizers!
There was a small snag in service- we had originally discussed providing plates and napkins for our dessert (through a outside vendor); these were missing from my wedding day. HOWEVER, my review remains at 5 stars because my MIL mentioned how the catering service had recognized the mistake and apologized for the mix-up when they could have easily claimed it was never discussed. Their honesty is greatly appreciated.
The tasting beforehand was free, and their team was helpful in designing what we wanted (we were able to easily swap colors of the plates and omit certain ingredients from the meals).
Finally I wanted to mention how much I appreciated cost transparency; many catering services require you to reach out for an estimated cost, and others told us they couldn't even consider being our caterer because we couldn't hit a certain minimum. I loved that their prices were on their website (just make sure to guestimate an extra grand+ for services/fees).

We used Deco Catering for our wedding and overall had a great experience. The pasta bar was a huge hit—guests loved it, and I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free and vegan options. It came with breadsticks, salad, and protein choices, which made it feel like a complete meal. The cake was delicious, and they also offered a vegan/GF chocolate mousse that was a big success. We added three appetizers (spanakopita, bacon-wrapped dates, and potato bites with dill sour cream), all of which were quickly eaten, plus a late-night pretzel and cheese bar that everyone raved about. Leading up to the day, the company was excellent to work with—very communicative, helpful, and the tasting beforehand was such a fun, reassuring part of the process. They also went above and beyond with setup, arranging linens and folding napkins at no extra charge. That said, I do have some complaints about the day-of service. The staff on-site seemed disorganized: food came out later than planned, there was a lot of confusion around serving the vegan and GF meals, and unfortunately one of our tiramisus was never cut or served despite people asking for it. I couldn’t find anyone to help with it, and I also never got the leftovers back, so it felt like $80 wasted and such a shame because it was so tasty. We also almost didn’t get our cake leftovers returned either—it only happened because I happened to run into an attendant in the parking lot who had them (maybe in one of their cars). Despite those hiccups, the food itself was wonderful, and the planning process was smooth and stress-free. I’d still recommend Deco Catering for their creative menu options and helpful team, but I’d advise couples to be very clear about expectations for the day-of staff to avoid similar issues.

Deco provided catering for our outdoor wedding and 120 guests. We were so impressed with their food, presentation and service. So many compliments from the past hors d’oeuvres during reception, the sitdown dinner following the ceremony and the unbelievable delicious desserts. Eat the cannoli! Thank you for a beautiful and delicious contribution to our special day. Highly recommend.

The entire process with Deco from start to finish couldn’t have been better. We worked with Kasey and Xander prior to the event and both were very friendly and responsive. The food was absolutely delicious—our favorites were the stuffed mushrooms, spanakopita, meatballs, and chicken skewers. From initially reaching out to attending the tasting and to catering the wedding itself, they were easy to talk to, incredibly responsive, and so helpful during the event. They made sure we stayed on our timeline and that the event ran smoothly.

Running through the timeline before the wedding also eased so many of my wedding anxieties and worries! They even took care of the desserts--which were through a different vendor! I cannot be more thankful for their reassurance and guidance.

The entire process of working with Deco for our wedding catering last month was an absolute breeze. From our initial consultation to the big day itself, they made everything smooth and stress-free.

Our tasting was especially great; they let us try a wide variety of dishes for every course (and made some very helpful suggestions). Communication throughout was effortless. They catered (pun intended) to some minor changes and customizations with enthusiasm and professionalism. The real star, though, was the food. Each appetizer and entree was fabulous, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. (The Swedish meatballs and cucumber dill havarti canapes were a big hit!) A month later, guests are still telling us how delicious everything was.

Deco Catering is obviously passionate about what they do, and their dedication truly shone through. Highly recommend them for any event—they turned our wedding into a culinary delight we and our guests will never forget!

We received more than a handful of compliments from our guests, with many saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding—EVER. We honestly regret not ordering extra entrées for ourselves and wish there was a way to do takeout from you once in a while!

We ordered food to be catered in for a work holiday party, and I was impressed at first contact with Kasey. She followed up promptly after my online inquiry and was able to provide me a quote within minutes. She was very responsive with further questions regarding dietary concerns, and the ordering process was seamless. The day of the event, Christy arrived to deliver the food and set everything up, including sternos, warmers, and table tents describing each food item. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the Swedish meatballs. The spanakopita disappeared before I could try it, but was definitely a crowd favorite! We will definitely be using The Deco for future catered events.

All of the food was incredible and especially the cake! Our family recently had an 80 person event and we could not be happier. The crew that came to set up was easy to work with and the food was wonderful . The entire process was seamless and we cannot recommend Deco enough. Five stars+
