Since I moved to Minneapolis, Get Down has been by far the best coffee shop. I love their regular coffee that's roasted in house, but their specialty drinks are TO DIE FOR. They are always experimenting and rotating things to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Get Down is a must-visit in the cities, I hope they open up more shops soon!!

I’m really happy this coffee shop is in the hood. Somewhat of the hood. Coffee is delicious. Food is great. I don’t know if it’s just me but the vibe from the woman/owner is just not very welcoming. There is no real greeting like you would expect from a small neighborhood establishment and it’s just something off about the vibe behind the counter. I’m not sure what it is and it just may be me, but I’ve been there a couple of times and it always feels the same. However, please do not let my perception of someone’s persona deter you from going to this overall awesome place. Because if you’re gonna go to a coffee shop, this would be the coffee shop to go to as far as supporting black and small business. The overall vibe besides behind that counter is pretty cool.

Love this coffee shop, one of my favorites! The Cranes in the Sky latte is amazing! Also love buying a bag of their espresso beans to make lattes at home. They have a nice patio outside.
Ive tried a few drinks now and although I dont prefer sweeter drinks I expect some atleast. The flavors I expect them to have some sweetness are often dry, boring and smoky

I love stopping into this Northside vibe on the weekends for a fancy coffee. My favorite is Cranes in the Sky strawberry vanilla latte and I appreciate their use of compostable wares. It's a lovely place to work remotely if you can grab a spot in the cozy space.
