If you're craving a delicious cold cut. without compromising your vegan lifestyle, look no further than Herbivorious deli. Their cold Italian cut sandwiches are to die for, bursting with flavor and packed with their very own meat. What sets this place apart is their house-made vegan meats, which are unbelievably delicious and satisfying. From savory seitan salami to mouthwatering plant-based prosciutto, each bite is a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship. Combined with their Hoagie roll and house-made sauce, every sandwich is a culinary masterpiece. Whether you're a committed vegan or just looking to explore plant-based options, this deli is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food done right. Get an extra for the road too!

I had bacon from The Herbivorous Butcher at a local restaurant and absolutely had to have more! I got their breakfast sandwich, which was huge! Fluffy tofu and delicious vegan sausage with a tangy red pepper sauce. Delicious!

This was definitely the best food we had in Minneapolis. My partner got a sriracha brat and we got Italian and Turkey Havarti cold cut sandwiches to go as well as a bunch of other meats to try. Everything was good, but the Italian cold cut was my favorite. I don't usually like sausage kind of things but the Italian brats were good as well.

When moving to Mpls, chose NE in part because of proximity to HB. Pre-pandemic, they would weigh out your order and bag it up. Since the pandemic, they have only used pre-packaged sizes and started asking for tips, which doesn't make any sense because the employees are no longer weighing out your order or anything.

Had the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich. Absolutely delicious, great options of non-deli things as well

I first went to herbivorous butcher on a business trip to Minneapolis - maybe 8 years ago. Well fast forward and we are still ordering online from them years later since we don’t live in Minnesota. My husband adores the pastrami! As a long time vegan of 28 years, I have tried many faux meats and cheeses and I think they do an exemplary job. They are super creative people with a vision. I don’t know how they have the time to do everything they do- start a vegan butcher shop; start a farm sanctuary; write a cookbook; open more vegan restaurants… just wow!

In addition to deli meats & cheeses, there is also a very nice selection of hard-to-find vegan retail goods such as stroopwafels, fysh sauce and marshmallows. The Hot Breakfast Sandwich had a nice maple-y taste and was quite large. It was both my breakfast and lunch and kept me full until dinner. Yum. The gentleman behind the counter helped me purchase all of the ingredients needed to make the Italian Cold Cut Sandwich at home, and also told me what I needed to buy separately at the grocery store (such as vegan mayo and red onion). I made it for dinner, and it was hands down the best sandwich I've had in a long time.

Too be fair, I'll say I'm new to veganism, but so far, I've been enjoying it. And I had heard good things about HB. But I bought some of their products to try via the Too Good To Go app. We received a good value, the smoked house ribs and pot roast. But when we cooked up the ribs... bleh. Tasted and looked like dog food. We didn't even bother with the pot roast after that. I'd say this was my worst vegan experience so far. Disappointing.
