I recently had a dinner with my significant other and I loudly over heard what appeared to be a manager (tall man with a beard and short sides) call a younger employee a “retard”. It was incredibly disturbing and I will NEVER be back at this establishment. So sickened with people.

The spaghetti and meatballs were unpleasantly awful. Like a 3/10. Meatballs rubbery and flavorless. Spaghetti noodles were super thin like angel pasta and barely any sauce covering the plate. The chicken wings were soft and slightly undercooked. It did have a nice grill flavor to it. Super disappointed with our meal being it was our first time. Waitress was great and friendly!

Even though we live in the neighborhood, we had never been to Lowry. Nice surprise! We ate on the patio, very comfortable and quick service. The walk through the dining room was a real throwback. Maybe time for a refresh? Food exceeding our expectations, good selection too. We’re a couple of boomers, so maybe a heads up when a 70+ “older” couple orders the “purple lemonade” (thc infused)! I had to finish my beer AND my wife’s lemonade. We’ll be back though!Parking: Plenty of parking.

The service was great and the food was good. I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich, it was ok. They do have great French fries and tots.

Sunday brunch was busy, so maybe that was part of the problem, but overall it was pretty disappointing. The breakfast bowl was a sad looking half of a cup of beans and rice with some wet spinach and a hard poached egg for $15. The holly hash was 4 times the size and the same price. Lemon ricotta pancakes were just pancakes with a tablespoon of lemon curd slopped on top. Server clearly had too many tables and didn't check on us or fill our coffee. Everyone working seemed stressed and irritable. Overall a very weird dining experience. Years ago I remember this place being fun and lively and having good food and drink, but I definitely won't go back any time soon. It's giving glad-I-didn't-order-the-oysters vibes.

Know the restaurants that play overly loud music, so you can't talk while at a table? Thankfully, this is NOT one of them. We have been here quite a few times, and the food, service, and atmosphere are always top-notch. The first time, we didn't realize the happy hour menu was only for the bar and patio ... it would be nice if it was restaurant-wide. Otherwise, the food is incredible. Having a vegetarian in the family, there are quite a few options available at this place! Parking is a breeze at this location, too! We will be back!

Went here for a quick bite for an event!Made this known to our server and she was fantastic with the speed.Everything is very fairly priced for the portion sizes - big kudos. We had the cheese curds and truffle fries - both were amazing. The applesauce dip for the curds was amazing, I’ve never had anything like this so I was very impressed. The fries were bold with truffle flavor and were not dripping in grease which is rare to find. Big kudos to the Lowry for this!

The Lowry never disappoints especially for a Sunday Brunch. We went here last weekend to celebrate our daughter's birthday and enjoyed every minute of it. The Chicken Stack and Eggs Benny were excellent with great portion sizes and filled with flavor. Our kids had fun with the color sheet and their mac n' cheese meals. The options are endless and the drinks are made to your liking. The best part was the service despite it being very busy. Our waitress accommodated all our dietary needs without any issues. The parking lots is large but is always packed so factor in time. We will definitely be here again for the next birthday!

Recently revisited the Lowry after many years. I must say both happy hour and breakfast were very good. I’ll be back even if it is across the river ?

Part of the Blue Plate Company, there are a few recognizable some items from other spots such as Freehouse, Longfellow Grill, Groveland Tap, etc. The Lowry really brings me back as I recall various visits here in college but hadn't been back until very recently. There is a simple reservation process that worked seamlessly and the service was very polished. Interior decorating hasn't changed much since I visited many moons ago, yet somehow still felt inviting with the oversized big booths. There is a parking lot directly connected making this a huge win considering the location on busy Hennepin. Breakfast was solid as I had a mimosa, breakfast bowl, and split the killer banana waffle with a girlfriend. Everything tasted excellent with great flavoring. Come visit!
