The establishment was fine overall. My family enjoyed their dining experience. Myself I ended up with food poisoning from the Ahi Mahi fish sandwich I had the evening we were there. I know it was the fish since it was the only thing I had that day and nobody else in my party had eaten it.

The staff are fantastic! Food is top notch! Exceptional chicken soup and the Szechuan Green Beans are sublime! Only criticism, and it is minor; please bring back the lavosh! Best place to bring visitors for an authentic Minneapolis experience!
Best wings!!! Can't get enough of them.

The bar at The Monte Carlo: a place like no other. Belly up, order a martini or a scotch on the rocks and talk to your fellow drinker: always a worthwhile endeavor 😉

I was recommended to try the dry rub wings by a friend and was not disappointed. They have a little spicy kick to them which is fun and makes it a little different than the other dry rubs in the MSP area. My favorite dry rub is Brunson's, but this place ranks right up there with them. We visited this place on a Sunday at 1pm during an away Vikings game (this is relevant because they traffic and parking may vary due to a home Viking's game). The parking lot has plenty of free spots available for us. Now just so you know I only saw 1 small TV which is fine as this is not a sports bar, just know that going in. The bartender was very personable and helpful and dealt with my date's and my silliness. I will definitely return to try more things.
Parking: I would say there is approx 40-50 spots in the lot, it was free when we visited on Sunday at 1 pm.

Tied for my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. This place is incredible. Old school vibe. Excellent food and even better cocktails.

Had this spot after a long day on set and it was a smooth vibe. We rode scooters from our hotel over and it was a cool experience to view Minneapolis while on our way here.
The service was really nice, even noticed how tired we were because we weren't speaking much, but told us that we were a nice and easy table for the night.
The food wasn't amazing, but definitely got the job done. It was bar food, so there's not much to be expected, hence the 3 star review.
Probably won't ever be back, but if you go, get the wings!

Wings and a martini. I hear they have other food as well. Been going for twenty years. Old school bartenders and Jim the parking guy always has a gin to recommend. Excellent patio, servers are also a master of their craft.

Free parking right by the restaurant!
Of course it’s also a good place to celebrate a special event or even have a business meeting. Food is great, service is impeccable, and the decor mixes modern at the bar and traditional at the dining area. It's certainly worth a try if not for the food at least the cocktails! Selection of desserts is limited but tasty! Save room and have a nice dessert wine at the end!
