Pretty expensive for mediocre quality food. I was genuinely disappointed in the quality of the NY Strip. Target ground beef has more nuance to the flavor. No flavor in the fried chicken either, it tastes like plain boiled chicken with a tough leathery skin. Service was okay at best... im not looking for you to kiss my feet but a little bit of customer service would be nice. The atmosphere was really nice though, sophisticated and moody.

I brought my parents here for game-day dinner. We had great food however I have never experienced service as awful as here. It was not very busy, our server Mary came to our table a total of 3 times. To take our order, bring our food, and bring the bill. As a server myself I enjoy having a delightful experience, I will never come here again. Awful service and food not up to par. Very disappointed.

We went for a nice dinner before a night out. My wife got the scallop linguine and I had the fish and chips and we got the wings for an appetizer. Good cocktails. The food was good and the service was pretty good for how busy they were. Love to go back.

A Tale of Two Experiences Our visit to The Monte Carlo was a mixed bag, to say the least. While our time at the bar was fantastic, the initial experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we sat down, our bartender was the epitome of great service. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and a true professional. She offered great drink recommendations and made us feel so welcome that we almost forgot about our bumpy start. Her expertise and warm demeanor are the main reasons we'd consider coming back. However, the experience with the host was the complete opposite. The host's behavior was inattentive, rude, and seemed uninterested, as if our money weren't good there. It was a stark contrast to the wonderful service we received from our bartender Nicole. Overall, our bartender's exceptional service truly saved the day and made our evening enjoyable. It's clear that she is a valuable asset to your team.

First time dining at The Monte Cristo and it was fantastic. We went for my husband's birthday dinner and it was the perfect place to enjoy a high quality meal in a classy atmosphere. The space is bigger on the inside and has a timeless feeling, as if it's been the same forever without feeling dated. We were greeted right away (made reservations) and led to our table. It was really notable how well you could have a conversation without having to raise your voice or strain to hear each other. Todd and Carmen took an extra step to make sure our shellfish allergy was noted and ensure our meals were good. The drinks are top notch - where else do you order a martini and keep the shaker?? We both ordered the petite filet and it's the best steak we've had in town. Can't wait to come back for lunch!

Oh the outside patio is a must spot to have your food. Their chicken noodle soup was so tasty. Perfect spot to visit before a Twins game.
