Fantastic local icon for a steak dinner. The food was good as was the service.
When I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by an older short woman with dark hair, a black dress and multi colored blazer who was slightly rude to me, but very nice to other guest.My waitress was nice, suggested a cocktail that I happened to love, but never checked on me after I received my food.The other woman who stated she was in training was walking around outside of the patio, checking on other guest, removing plates, but never stopped at my table.The place was busy so I tried giving them the benefit of doubt, but they walked passed my table on several different occasions and NOTHING. As a former waitress of 8 years, I was highly disappointed and unimpressed!I literally had to walk inside the restaurant to try and located my sever to pay my bill as I was tired of waiting outside and ready to leave.Once found, I told her that I wanted to check out and she said okay. No attempted upscale, never inquired how my food was, NOTHING!The food and drinks were definitely the best part.The service was BELOW average.

The restaurant was really nice. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We ordered the beef liver. I found this ok (probably not that compatible with my personal taste), my friends found this really delicious! We also ordered the salad nicoise which was delicious. People there, were very kind and helpful. The bar decoration was impressive too.

This place is top notch and their prices aren’t extortion like some in this neighborhood. The service is slow, but they look adorable and are very friendly. I wish drinks from the bar took less time, we come here often and we’ve waited 10-15min avg for drinks sometimes over 20 min. That’s my only criticism. The free parking lot is super nice, the patio is great, and they have the best dry rub wings in the twin cities.Parking: It’s a lesser known secret but the lot north of the place is theirs and free. Sometimes an old man is managing it, he’ll try and sell ya on the ribeye I bet.
