I’ve been coming to Roadside for years. I brought in 7 people who have never been to roadside before. I raved about how great the food was and how amazing my experiences have been. The new menu was really gross. I always order the same thing, this time is was super dry and not good. Nobody in my party liked their food either. And the bill was extremely over the top for the poor quality of food. The service was really awful as well. We had Alex as our server and as a local restaurant GM.. I would definitely not let her work in my restaurant. She was on her phone the entire 2 hours we were there. Gave attitude at our table to 4/7 people that were in our party. We had empty drinks for 70% of our visit. If we asked her to get us something she looked annoyed. Worst service I’ve had in a long time. Super disappointing.I definitely won’t be returning to roadside and will not be recommending this place to anyone anymore. I truly felt embarrassed for recommending this restaurant/bar for our dinner plans tonight.

The food was really cheap, but the prices were high for what you get. The server was rude and smelled like Marijuana.

Wow! I have been coming here off and on for years and have always raved about the food. It was one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Today I met a coworker for lunch and was so disappointed by the new menu. It was hard to find something to order. I decided to go with the pork bowl and was even more disappointed by the quality, flavor and amount of food!!! I ordered a bowl from the taco portion of the menu, The amount of pork that was over a heaping bowl of DRY long grain rice was so Proportionately off, with the smallest amount of GROSS slaw and 3 slices of a pickled cucumber (maybe ??‍♀️). I hope the menu gets revamped soon. I was actually sad to see the current menu.

Service was good. Food was horrible. My burger was a thin, rubbery patty that just tasted like salt. Tater tots were so over cooked they were just mushy bits filled with oil. Chicken sandwich was basically just fried breading, very little chicken. Also, the prices were ridiculous for what you get. Super disappointed. We won’t be returning.

1st time here and we'll be back. Onion rings were great, fries were cooked well and perfectly salted, great burger, and loved the chicken sandwich. Going to come back and try the in house smoked BBQ. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and attentive.

We had good food once they got it right and delivered to us. The brisket. was great and good amount, the rest of the food was good but the service was awful. She did not write down our order and so we did not get the food as we ordered it. She did not come back to even check on the food we got. We had to ask another waitress to get her to come back to get the rest of our food. I had go up and get the bbq sauce that we asked for several times. We will get the brisket to go for now.

I'll start with the food. The burgers we ordered were fantastic. I had the "Darkside of the Melt" and my wife had "The California". We both enjoyed them. We also ordered the "Candied Squash". Loved the squash!! The one thing I just didn't care for though were the fries. I could tell if there was any potato in there or if I was eating a steel girder. It was almost like they bought a can of shoestring potatoes and served them. My wife had the Sweet Potato Fries and those were perfect.Service. It was incredible. She was always checking in on us. She was prompt with service. Made sure our drinks were full. Made sure we were happy with everything within her control.Atmosphere. Typical bar atmosphere. TVs on the walls, sports playing. They could use something to dampen the sound though. It was extremely loud, as if everyone was trying to yell over everyone else. It was hard to talk across the table without having to be really loud.

Love what they are trying to do here I just wish they had better food. The wagyu beef on the tacos were so good I just don’t know who in their right mind would put sweet pickles on a taco like that. The queso was just plain bad on the bbq nachos. The fries looked and tasted like they came out of a frozen bag and were baked in an oven. My girlfriend found a fruit fly in her cosmopolitan.I’m seeing a lot of reviews saying the menu was changed and it used to be good food. I wish I had the chance to try that because this food was awful and I will never be coming back.

We had spent about a month corresponding back and forth with Jordan for a retirement party. We have all the emails confirming the party was all planned and we picked out the food two weeks in advance so they could make sure they had what they needed. The party was confirmed and all set. We show up for the party and nothing is set up. The staff had no idea a party of 25 was coming. They showed us the party room but the smoke from the food was so bad in there that it burned our eyes. They then offered to open the big garage door to air it out but then we would be cold because there was no heat in there. So we ended up sitting in the dining area. And the level of smoke in the restaurant is insane. It will be coming out of your pores by the time you leave. Our waitress was amazing for having to deal with a last minute huge party and most of us were mad that all that planning was for nothing. The food was good but expensive. And our overall cost ended up being way more than it would have been had we had the taco bar like we told Jordan about two weeks in advance. I feel most bad for the staff because they were caught completely off guard and had to scramble to help a large party. But like I said our waitress was very kind and attentive. I do not blame her at all. What’s even more disappointing is Jordan, when emailed about it claims he had a family emergency and that it was his staffs fault for not checking the event book. They saved him and he throws them under the bus. I’m pretty sure staff doesn’t just come in and learn about events that day. The fact that Jordan couldn’t take responsibility for not informing his staff of the party and not having things in place for it was really disappointing. And the fact that a boss would blame his staff after they worked so hard to make things better is just ridiculous. And no I do not believe he had an actual family emergency. I think he even had the audacity to lie about it. Because if that were true his staff would have known and explained that to us. Instead they said the things that are usually up for an event for them were not there. And that Jordan had been really busy with Thanksgiving and probably just forgot. His staff was just as flabbergasted as we all were that there was nothing about the party anywhere. I would not recommend this place at all because Jordan is not a reliable person and has no trouble passing blame onto his staff. And he has offered us free food for our trouble but that doesn’t do us a lot of good being we live 45 minutes away from there. Do not plan your party there or you risk there not being an actual party.
