This place is a hidden gem. I have tried multiple roasts and have not yet been disappointed. I've made single-cup pour-over, drip coffee with a Moccamaster, and espresso with their roasts and all are incredible. I highly encourage people in the area to get their coffee here!

I went there for the first time this morning and had a pleasant experience. I met Jeremy, who was very welcoming. He helped me identify a product that may be a good fit for my tastes. Everything available was roasted that same day, and the prices are great for Fair Trade Organic. I brought it up, brewed up a cup, and was very happy with it. I will definitely come back here once I run out to try something different.

We stumbled upon The Roastery and now I’m spoiled! I don’t consider myself a coffee connaisseur but I could legitimately taste a difference in these beans from all the other beans we’ve bought…and it’s by far my favorite coffee I’ve brewed from whole beans at home. Loved it! Plus, it was so fun on a Saturday morning to chat with the owner who was there roasting the beans and telling us stories and answering our questions. We’ll definitely be back for more beans. ?

Great fresh roasted beans delivered to you home. Nice to support a local business that has an emphasis on quality.

The best coffee roaster in the Twin Cities!

Fresh, local coffee. Very impressed with the quality of coffee I have purchased. Fresh roasted makes a big difference in taste; especially vs the big chains.

Very impressed by my first visit at The Roastery. Jeremy greeted me with a warm welcome and smile. I explained that I was just getting into different coffee brewing techniques and his excitement was palpable. He explained all his roasts in great detail and took my preferences into consideration. Coffee here is much more affordable compared to store bought as each bag is a full pound. Very impressed, this is my new place to get coffee!!!

Just ordered from this place for the first time last week. I've been a customer of a few other local roasteries, but (maybe it's due to my location) having the beans show up on my doorstep a mere 3 hours later after ordering is... impressive. All the other roasteries use UPS or USPS to get the coffee to my door. That's not even getting into how good the beans are. The roast is spot-on and the beans are ultra-fresh when I get them. Sometimes I have to wait a few days for them to off-gas. That's the downside of super fresh coffee! The only thing missing for me is some information about the coffee on the website, like roast level, altitude, how it's processed, etc.

MN coffee lovers alert! This place is a treasure. We're Ethiopian Yrgacheffe coffee lovers, particularly of the natural processed, fruity variety. Have had this from Barefoot Roasters (Santa Clara CA) where we discovered blueberry and sweetness in coffee, Lighthouse Roasters (Seattle), a few San Francisco roasters and a number of MN roasters. Only Barefoot comes close to the wonderful roasts Jeremy routinely obtains. This is superbly roasted coffee and we're now consistently enjoying the best coffee we've ever had. Hats off and gratitude to Jeremy. Also responsive to questions re: the roast, which we greatly appreciate. You don't live in MPLS? No problem. We get 2 lb shipped every 10 days and he makes this both pain-free and affordable (compared to local roasters).
