I am so sad to see this place close. I was honored to visit it during the last dinner service today. The people who work here are/were wonderful, lovely, and all good things. Home of the Big A** Chicken Sandwich, the shuck yeah salad, but can we have a moment for THE MAC N CHEESE? Holy moly that mac n cheese is delicious. Seriously, I will miss you, Sheridan Room

This place doesn't look like much when you walk past, and the inclusion of room in the name may make you think that it's something it isn't. The Sheridan Room is a wolf in sheep's clothing -- in the best way possible. I went with a small group of friends for a quick dinner and immediately found the space and ambiance very warm and fun. As we sat down to order I immediately laughed at the option to increase the size of your chicken sandwich - "make it big a*** - incredible. I found a lot of the naming practices to be very cheeky and I think that's fun. As for the menu -- it has a ton of vegan options, as well as some classic sandwich options, I opted for the "Hank Done It," the smoked salmon salad sandwich. I will be getting it again, but I need to try the susanne vega and the 1210 sounds amazing, too. I have no photos of my dish because I was a little drunk and it was kind of dark. 5/5 stars for being cheeky, affordable, and unexpectedly great. If they sold tee shirts I'd probably buy one, nice little logo on the pocket on the left breast.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Minneapolis, and certainly my go-to for introducing friends and family to NE. Amazing food/drinks, the kindest staff, and coziest space.

I selected this place for a vegan friend. Upon ordering, the waitress informed us that their menu "isn't *really vegan*, but it kind of is"... how is that? There are several items on the menu with the designated 'v' and the menu even has the key stating these items are vegan. It's not okay to mislead your customers. Do better.

Absolutely amazing food. Ordered some scrambled eggs and they looked so beautiful i didn't want to eat them and they were just as delicious. Cute little cozy hole in the wall, 13/10

Somewhat disappointed by the food at a recent brunch. I think my hash browns weee deep fried - how else to explain a pile of loosely connected potato strings ? I was excited by the offering of "homemade sausage patties' but very disappointed by the one small patty served for $5! Also biscuit was not warm, served with no butter or jam. For way less cash I'd get a better sausage biscuit and hash brown patty at Mac D's!

Generous servings of food. I had a burger which was great, but a little sloppy to eat with the sauce running out. Just lean over your plate! My husband had a chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken was huge, sticking out over the bun. A little bit noisy but we could hold a conversation. Our waitress was exceptional. Took very good care of us! We plan to come back!

We had never been to the Sheridan room; it is an excellent find! We shared a brussels sprouts salad that was delicious with bacon, dried cranberries and a slightly sweet dressing and a grilled chicken sandwich with spinach and blueberry jam and a side of truffle fries with aioli. Expensive ($12 seems to be the norm now) but excellent cocktails and affordable wine by the glass. Everything was excellent and tasty; the only miss was the chicken on the sandwich was 2 thin cutlets which were a bit dry and tough.

Chicken sandwiches were great in taste and price. My husband and I recommend the truffle fries, you will not be disappointed. They have a great selection of craft beers and happy hour is a plus (everyday until 6pm). The vinyl music is unique and provides an cool ambiance.

Enjoyed dining here before a musical at the Ritz Theater 2 doors down! Great vegan options (not only ONE like most restaurants that have noticed vegans eat meals out). Highly recommend ❤️

Went here for Valentines day with my partner of 10+ years, and we had an excellent experience. We were initially sat at a table but asked if we could switch to an open booth for more privacy and it was no problem. Service was prompt and cheerful, and the food was excellent. Really hit the spot for a low key, first dinner out since covid lockdown, for us.

We were headed to a play at Theater Latte Da and stopped in here to grab dinner. We had a reservation and were seated immediately at a intimate booth for two. The place filled up quickly and got pretty loud but I liked the energy. I opted for the chicken sandwich. I asked our server what she would recommend for the side (soup, fries, or salad) and she highly recommend the tomato coconut soup. Now I'm not a fan of tomato soup nor coconut but her recommendation was so strong I decided to take a chance. It was a great choice, and unique combination. I loved it and it was a nice change from lettuce and calorie-filled fries. The sandwich was crispy. I don't like Mayo so I opted to keep that off which made it a bit too dry (maybe a tomato or slice of melted cheese would have helped) but that's my personal problem because I hate Mayo. Husband had a big salad which he thought was as good but could have used a tomato or cucumber addition. I just went with the house red wine which was fine. Service was great. Parking was easy in lot across the street which is open at 6pm. We also got to use the City Tins coaster gift we got for Xmas to get $10 off. Nice visit.

I found this place after doing a Google search for Herbivorous Butcher BLT (I was craving a BLT and was too lazy to go buy the Herbivorous bacon and make it at home) and this place came up. OMG this hit the spot. From the first bite, I was hooked and know I have found a new place to dine. I would have preferred sliced tomatoes rather than the tomato relish (for added texture) but the flavor was awesome. The icing on the cake were the hand-cut fries. I was so excited with this meal. My only complaint was that I couldn't finish it all and because I wasn't going right home I couldn't have the leftovers for later :-)

We really enjoy this place. Servers are very good. The kitchen is reliable. Menu is pretty simple, but with some interesting taste twists to keep it interesting. My only wish is for a gluten free bread or bun. If Culvers can do it, so can you!
