Hidden gem in Dinkytown. 16 bucks and change for a Philly combo (paid cash), food was delicious. Fries had a nice light seasoning, Philly was unique with diced steak, liked it. Nice place

Got the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and it was amazing, egg cooked and runny to perfection. The apple cinnamon syrup on the pancakes was the cherry on top. This place is a hidden gem.

We came in with 14 people yesterday, on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Our food was served to us within maybe 10 minutes and it was just as expected! When we left Tony came out to chat for a minute - great guy, awesome diner food. Thanks for having us!

Food was okay. Too expensive for what it was. The coffee was horrible.

My sister and I were leaving town after visiting and needed something to eat before heading to the airport.
This place is super cute and definitely here for the community which we love.
Tony, himself, took our order, my sister got a tradition breakfast and for myself, the Greek omelette and added gyro meat to it. Very good!
Portions were perfect, especially waking up hangover. Hashbrowns (in my own very opinion) could've been crisper, but inlike to order food as it comes being from the south, everyone cooks things differently.
We both enjoyed our breakfast very much and the ambiance of seeing the college kids coming together was just a perfect touch.
If you're visiting, definitely check this place out!

My husband and I brought our son to orientation at U of M and we needed a place to stop for breakfast! We went to Tony's and he took great care of us! He was so welcoming and told us to send our son down there...he is obviously a friend to everyone in the neighborhood and beyond! Now on to the food... we had the best breakfast we have had in a LONG TIME. My husband's breakfast sandwich was amazing and I was jealous I didn't order it.... Except my Denver omelet was the best omelet and I was very happy to have ordered it! There was a breakfast place not far from there that seemed way too crowded- but Tony's is a nice big place with an extremely kind and welcoming vibe- not to mention his food is incredible....
We are so happy we found Tony's and can't wait to come back! Thanks for your hospitality!

The food was very good. And the prices were not bad. Depending what you get it’s around $9-$20 a person but we both got 2 things so it was about $45. They have a lot of options, breakfast foods and some lunch foods.

In a neighborhood full of overpriced chain restaurants, Tony's is a great place to grab food on your own or with a group. My recent visits have been consistently great -- solid food, good quality and prices, quick/convenient - and the BEST customer service. Happy to support our Dinkytown small businesses!

A decent diner.
I love this place! Such a nostalgic atmosphere to me. This is my favourite place to get huevos rancheros and one of the staffs brother makes his own syrup that my boyfriend (who typically gets the French toast) really enjoys! He says the consistency of the maple syrup is better than a lot of other syrups and the flavour is good. Their huevos rancheros are so delicious! Sometimes I get cravings for it lol. The price is great for the quality of food and service you are getting here! The staff are so friendly and they do their jobs well. Even writing this review I'm craving their huevos rancheros 🤤
Love this sweet little diner! Incredible vibes and great food! Tony is awesome!
Good food and service.
Great place.
Great service.
Great food. For a decent price.
I had the Denver omelet.
I will say the peppers were a bit large and should have been diced, not chopped.
Could have added more cheese, but it was still good.
Definitely try the French toast!
Mimosa was ok.
