Don’t think twice, go here! We were in town for a concert and wanted some lunch. Trieste absolutely delivered. We got the chicken lunch special and were able to share it with some leftovers to enjoy after our show. When we come back to the city, this place will be a definite revisit for us!

I had the chicken Shish kabob and it was incredible!! Between the meat, rice, veggies, and garlic dip - every part of the dish was amazing. They were also so kind. I’d definitely come back!

There was a constant line from the time I got there until I left (I ate in the restaurant), but the line moved quickly and clearly is a favorite for locals. The #5 salad was chopped up right in front of me - it doesn’t get more fresh than that. I really enjoyed the tzaziki but was also glad to be able to try - the pita with hummus that is served alongside the salad. Great service as well!

What a gem of a restaurant. They cut the vegetables right in front of you and everything tastes that fresh. The food is delicious and the value is extremely high. I had the gyros lunchbox which I could eat daily. I hope I can return before I leave Minneapolis and recommend you stop by for lunch if you are close.

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the Twin Cities. The owners are genuinely wonderful people, the ingredients are fresh, and the full meal is made to order right in front of you down to the slicing of the vegetables. Very generous portions and reasonable price. The gyro plate with tabbouleh (tabouli) on the side is my favorite combination. Rotate theough the ads-on side dishes over time, they're worth it.

Wait, what?! The last time I looked online this place was closed. I am so thrilled to see that it has reopened. I used to come here all the time pre-Covid and the food and service was always amazing. Never have I ever had a bad experience here. I wish it was Monday (said no one ever) because I know what's for lunch! I am so happy to see this place was able to sustain. It honestly is a must try. The Gyro Combo = perfection!

Trieste has been there for 34 years. It has survived Covid and a small business whose food is fresh and delicious. I usually have #7 and their baklava adds a good dessert option. They are open only for lunch from 12 to 2pm

A very kind and cute couple serve you in such a way that makes you feel like family. The food was authentic and full of wonderful flavor. This little gem makes me wish I could visit Minneapolis more than only once a month. This is the first of many stops. I'm so glad I found this great place. I love the artwork on the walls and music playing in the dining area, too. Try the gyro! It was superb!
