Service and food were ok, but the place was LOUD. There were no sound deadening materials or measures taken when the restaurant was designed. There were only around a dozen people when I was there and it was quieter on the street. Painfully loud restaurant.

This place was just what I was looking for on a Sunday evening. Spacious and tons of seating available. Cool open concept with the bakery portion openly visible. It's quite loud though, since it's a large space.

Love the food. Crafted coffee is always perfect! The staff is my favorite and the reason I go to Turtle bread often.

Pretty solid restaurant. You order at the front and they deliver it to your table. Not ridiculously expensive like most places now. Pretty good food overall as well. Coffee is bland but that's normal out of a big pot. I went two times so far. Good frittata and basic breakfast.

I love the food. I typically regret going here for a quick breakfast or lunch break because costumer service is so incredibly slow.

Wonderful old style bakery. Bake goods made with Pride. Their pastries, soups and other goodies can't be matched.

Good seating options. Very sturdy chairs. I like the common tables that are longer that multiple parties can sit at. Really good strawberry rhubarb pie, made a good companion for my mushroom frittata and coffee for breakfast. Pretty loud inside, recommend earplugs for less noise intensity. They do have a bathroom.

I really enjoyed going there after fencing practice. However, when I came back I couldn't eat my favorite bread because it was cross contaminated with nuts by the bread next to it. I hope they can find a better way to store their bread! :(

I come to Turtle Bread pretty often since I work nearby, and it’s become one of my favorite brunch spots. I especially love grabbing a pastry or something quick to go—my go-to is the pumpkin bar, it’s the perfect little treat. They’ve got such a good variety of pastries, pies, soups, and of course, bread. I usually bring home a classic French baguette—can’t go wrong. Everything always tastes fresh, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to stop in any time of day
